I gotta ask, how on earth did you make this? is it essentially a wrapped screen folded onto itself using shader magic?
I've been a fan of your games since the Sun and Moon entry a few years back. Glad to see you're still doing great work!
All in all an awesome and highly polished game!
Frogs are especially cute!
Inverted controls at the top of the screen are tricky.
I like that every game starts on a different level!
The one thing that you'll need to be perfect is music : the sound effects are great, animations are great but some music would tie everything together and give a great atmosphere to the game.
.. and hard quickly. I think my best score is 9
I really like how each biome have their own obstacles.
And of course visually this is brilliant.
The gameplay is simple and the informations are well displayed.
The graphics give the effect of deep.
I won't be surprised if you are in the top 10 of several categories.
I like the simple mechanics and the variety of enemies. The warping surface really changes the feel of the platforming. It all works really well.
The only trouble I had was with the controls while upside down, with directions flipping. I adapted fairly quickly but it was a little jarring at first.
Great work on it, it's a fantastic game.
Anyway this is a near perfect jam game and the only thing I was missing was some funky chiptune in the background.
Really well done!
Gameplay is short and sweet, controls feel great, visuals and sound are top, polish is next level, but you already know that. I didn't understand why i died one time, until i realized the white bottom part in the red area is not a rendering issue, but a hazard (as indicated by the white color, but i only realized that retrospectively). From the gifs i also thought it was a graphical error. Just a side note.
Five stars on everything but Audio (I can hardly complain though because I only had time for rudimentary audio in my Jam entry. You should try it though! It's pretty fun). Anyway nice job!
*Edit had left the game open in background and it eventually crashed with an out of memory error, might be a memory leak hidden somewhere. just a heads up!
So I really like your game and I'm streaming Ludum Dare 48 games on saturday with my friend Teauorent on his Twitch channel - https://www.twitch.tv/teauorent - Saturday May 1st 4PM CET

Have a great day, I hope to hear from you soon - thanks for that great moment I spent testing your little nugget of a game, and see you in the chat on saturday I hope

A good game for sure !
Honestly one of my favorites, congrats!
The difficulty spike is quite high and early and doesn't give new players much of an opportunity to get to grips with the controls and hazzards filling the screen.
The controls are quite confusing as I was expecting them to work the other way round. The player's jump is quite short which prevented me from safely getting to specific parts of a level.
Overall a really sweet little game with great graphics and premise. I'd like to see how you'd further develop it.
I'm always looking forward to your games, I find them very inspiring :)
I loved playing it, the controls are awesome and straight, just amazingly done game.
Good job!
I loved the color palette and the simple look similar to the console look like Odyssey further enhanced the game's charm.
Simple, beautiful and challenging. The kind of game I like. It will be saved here on my PC for future games. I just missed a background music to give a greater immersion. Think about it.
Congratulations!
Wonderful game!
I greatly appreciate this entry if only for how clever it is.
Super curious to see how you did it
