Really cool take on the digging mechanic!

Just finished, this was brilliant. Love the art and the gameplay! That final sequence was intense lol.

Really cute concept! Love the sprite work, really nice colours and animation and I just love the moles. The movement felt really solid, loved the sense of momentum from digging into the dirt and jumping out maintaining that arc and speed. The sound effects were great too! My time was 70.74, not too shabby I think? :D Would love to see a longer game with this mechanic and characters =]. Great job!

Woah this feels incredible polished, the underground movement feels sooo smooth for some reason. Idk if you can play with joystick but it'd be amazing with one. Too sad is so short! I'd love to see this expanded further.

Art is really cool, the litle chtullu was really fun, music is ok too!

Dang thats good. I love the animation for the digging and it feels soo smooth and natural. I played through all the levels and theres a lot u can do with this game in the future!

Very cool mechanic and the level design is also good, the art is perfect, the only problem I think the game has is the fact that the player is too fast, maybe bring down the movement speed a little bit

I like the mechanic, but don't really think it was used in an interesting way until the last level, could have made for some pretty interesting jumping puzzles. Nice polished art! If I have any real complaint it's how easily you get caught on corners and come to a complete stop, I died many times in the last chase by rubbing on a wall and just coming to a dead halt for some reason, but I was able to clear it. Might be a bug in the web player but the audio glitched quite a bit as well. Overall a really nice polished game!

Loved the intuitive controls, it was clear what I was supposed to do instantly. The digging mechanic surprised me, it worked so well and it was satisfying to dig around and leave marks. The fast dialog, the dialog box itself, the font and some flavour text work really well and lastly I loved how you wasted absolutely no time when restarting the level. I'll leave really good reviews :)

@vegmuffin Thank you. :) Yeah, especially during these jams, I try not to waste time. Doing the trail was the moment that greatly improved the polish of the game, like instantly haha! It was so satisfying the moment it was added.

OH boy that last part reminded me of the Celeste chasing sequences, pretty fun and great mechanic! While I write this I just read the comment above and realized someone already mentioned it. Welp, anyways.
The music was kinda lackluster, especially at the end where it could have been more epic. But the mechanics and movement were great!

I really liked it! You nailed the digging mechanic; it felt really fun even though I kept running into spikes. The music was a bit grating and it would have been nice to have something different for the chase part. There were a few times when the little guy chasing me got stuck on a corner. Otherwise the game felt really polished; I especially liked the pixel art. Great job!

That felt so gooood ;_; I LOVED digging around, it felt just great and right, movement is top notch, it looks beautiful, and the lil eldritch horror was SO CUTE

That was a cool mechanic, and worked really well! It ended at a good difficulty level, I thought - took several tries, but not forever, and wasn't so long that I'd get frustrated and give up.

I really like how fast-paced the movement is, makes it a lot of fun to play. The chase sequence also was a good fit because of this. I was kind of sad when it was over after that already.

As for criticism, some sort of effect when hitting the spikes would be nice, even if it was just a sound. Also, there seems to be a bug where you can't dig down when you're holding left or right against a wall.

Great graphics! Also, good character movement, but I'm feeling that spikes should be a little more forgiving... I've died a couple of times by just a couple of pixels ):

Very fun game. Liked that the level restart quickly. The spikes and the ground colour was very close to each other for me.

Enjoyable experience! The jump felt nice in that it depended on how long you held down the button. It would be cool if there were precise jumps during the boss battle using that mechanic. I also really liked how the text had expression in it even if it was only used for the little guy at the end.

I really liked the digging mechanic and hope you do more with it if you decide to continue this game or implement it in another project. I also enjoyed the little story you told with the game. Nice job.

Really nice art, interesting and pretty smooth movement mechanic. I can see why people are angry at Timmy though, I am as well. Would have been nice if the chase level had a bit sped up music track to fit with the pace. Was thrilling to finally beat it though, felt very satisfying.
