Fun game! I like the graphics and the gameplay. The only thing I found a bit strange are the random options after the fight. Sometimes I got 2 times "trade", other times 2 times "fight".

I really like the concept of the game! The music was a little bit stressing, I would go for something more calm (as a puzzle game) or exciting, if you're looking for a more direct combat in the future. The art is really unique (some monsters are so weird!)

That was really fun! I am a big fan of the combat system. I have some small complaints regarding UI, but I figure you were pressed for time. I would love to see this fleshed out with a simple map to walk around - fun battle system!

The art is fantastic. An indicator of how many turns an ability uses would have been nice (maybe I didn't see it). Overall a really fun little game.

Man, I'm loving the trippy sounds and the pixel art. The only real criticism I have is I don't think the "end turn" button is really necessary. There were a couple of times I made all of my moves but blanked on pressing "end turn". Either way, this is a great game and I ended up replaying it a couple of times to see what other random enemies there are.

The idea and art are fine, but I'd really like more specifics on costs and enemy actions. Also, did I just kill the trader while trying to sell old abilities? D:

Fun game ^^ I liked the graphics of the game and the enemy design + battle mechanics were pretty cool ^^ It could have been a bit longer and harder though, since it was pretty to grind the easy enemies and then kill the other ones with the cool new abilities ^^ A really cool fighting game with potential to a really cool full game ^^

I really liked the idea, felt similar to Slay the Spire which I loved! The pixel art was awesome as well! One small thing that was a bit confusing: it wasn't really clear what the enemy did on his turn, but otherwise really great! 👍

It's a seemingly simple game but I really like it A LOT! Such a sweet turn based combat rpg. The graphics look really awesome and the little squishing animations really add to the eye candy.

I had fun slaughtering monsters and growing stronger. It feels so cool, the idea of going deeper and deeper into hell with the intent of finding and destroying Lucifer.

The gui and the game fits on my small square screen well, which I really appreciate, since a lot of games only look good on large widescreen monitors.

When I started playing I did have a little trouble with the gui and buttons. I was confused if my turn had ended already and wasn't quite sure if my attacks were hitting. "Why they are doing no damage, did they miss?", I asked myself, because I saw no animations playing.

So it's hard to see if it's your turn or if inputs, attacks and skills are registering, though I could figure it out and it was quite playable. Especially when I noticed you could hover over certain icons to get more information. This made me understand that sometimes when you attack, the damage is negated by the enemies defense.

I also spend a lot of time fighting the first two enemy times until I released I had to invest my sins to proceed deeper into hell.

When I got used to it it was actually no longer a problem for me and I started to have even more and more fun as I was making progress! Resting and shopping, upgrading my skills and attacks, destroying everyone who opposed me, it's great! Haha.

The mechanics are well balanced. Some enemies are strong, which makes for exciting battles while other easier battles allow you to increase your health and strengths for your future endeavors. This all really hooked me and reeled me in! The information about what your opponent is about to do next really allows to strategize your next move and feel really clever about outmaneuvering your enemies.

The final battle was awesome! :D A little bit of sound would probably make the game come alive even more. I am really looking forward to your future productions!

Overall a fun game, some sound effects and feedback when using the attacks would have been a nice addition.

To be completely honest I didn't enjoy the combat. It was pretty much alternating between shielding up for a couple of rounds, then attacking when an enemy would buff. But of course I realize it's a gamejam game, so I understand it's made in limited time with limited resources. Other than that it felt pretty cool! The graphics and sound worked well for me and overall the game appeared solid and polished, atmospheric. Congratulations on finishing and submitting your game!
