Shaking In Your Bridges by Thulium Games

Shaking In Your Bridges is a resource management bridge building game! You spend gold to repair your bridge as cars drive across it and you have to direct them with colored arrows to the correct platform. Trucks arrive with money and gadgets to help you get your cars across. The pillars holding the bridges up are very...unstable. Make sure you move them back into place every so often!

Thank you!

The controls were a little difficult when in a crunch, but otherwise great idea!

At first I thought that when you hit 1, you repare all the bridge, needed some time to realize that i was reparing just one Block.
Anyways, The ide is very Original, and it felt solid!.

No idea what to do, repaired bridges but didn't get car points. Fell down a lot and had to restart game. Music was nice and the idea is pretty clever!

+1 on thinking i was reparing a whole bridge, not a block, its a neat idea!

The idea is very original and pleasant to play.

With more polish, the game could be very addictive. You should add in game tips, to help the player at the beginning. Also explain the purpose of gadgets.

The music fit well with the game and create a nice atmosphere.

Good job

Thanks for the feedback everyone! With college work, I'm not going to be able up update the game before the deadline but I definitely agree that controls could have been polished and some features could have been better communicated with the player. The tutorial is the one thing my team couldn't really figure out how to do well with the time we had left to work. Hopefully it was enjoyable anyway.

Fun game! Took me a second to figure out that I could fly, that sure made things a lot easier. I like the gradual difficulty curve and the arriving trucks add a nice bit of flair (appreciated the money). Well done!

Orignal use of the theme good job. Took me a second to understand what to do, but it was very clear and fast paced after that.

Like everyone else said and you admitted, the controls could have been better. But I enjoyed playing this. I was a little confused at first but picked it up pretty quickly.

This is a cool game! I did find it a little confusing but once I spent some time working it out I had fun here. I found the switching between walking and flying controls a little weird and couldn't figure out why it happened sometimes, I think possibly this game could make more sense if it was always one or the other.

I also ended up in a state a few times where my first bridge had broken so I couldn't earn more money as far as I can tell, I just had to wait until I lost. I think you could avoid sections like that potentially with some kind of additional way to earn coins at the cost of paying attention to traffic, like a button in the back you can push on a cooldown for coins just as a backup option once you get into the bad state. Another option could be to not have that single point of failure possible by having the first split before any bridges.

Really cool game and I enjoyed the juggling aspect of going between traffic direction, surface maintenance, and pylon pushing. Great work!

Thanks for your feedback everyone! We tried to explain the game a little further in the tutorial after some of your suggestions. As Thulium stated before, we know that the controls are very confusing and that our tutorial page could only do so much. For example, @aevek We actually have a function tied to the "4" key that can destroy bridge segments and the remaining health is converted into coins. Our instructions were not very clear about that but it was meant to be a temporary solution when you were running out of coins. We did not have much time to playtest so getting money is one of the hardest things to do. You know what they say, hindsight is 20/20!

Requires some fast thinking and faster movement. A tooltip on the gadgets would be nice to remember what they all do in the middle of panic.

That's a nice game but I don't understand all rules. Like, I got that I need to repair bridges because bridges are damaging by cars. So, when do I lose? I've fallen in water, yes, and after this I've become totaly useless.
Sound is great, but gameplay could be more clear.

Great entry, gameplay has unique elements and tries something different. Bridge repair mechanic definitely made everything chaotic and unstable. Awesome job.

I was a little bit overwhelmed with the fast pacing of the game :D But it was a lot of fun!

Original, but the controls and the pace made my brain spin. Anyway, good game!
