Really charming game despite not being finished, simple satisfying gameplay loop that reminds me of the flash games of the late 2000s, even as it is I played it quite a bit. given the time to develop it further this could be a really amazing game, and i think it deserves merit for the obvious effort on display here.

The art is really cute and I liked the simple animations. The game wasn't too unbalanced either once I got used to it a little bit. Going forward I think it would be cool if maybe the blue ones stole parts from you and attempted to carry them off. And maybe having a rest period to deposit parts would be nice if you wanted to make it more wave based. You have a good start here for sure!

The art here is great, the mechanics of the game all worked well, the only thing is I would maybe add some health to the player as things get hectic really quick and dying to one shot doesn't feel great! However you've got a solid game here even though its unfinished. Nice work!

@ty-victorson 100% agreed, we intended for there to be a health system, the current system is pretty bad

The game is pretty unfinished, we didn't have as much time as we've had for previous jams, but I'm glad you both see the foundations of a potentially good game somewhere in here haha!

The game is good overall, and using the remains of you fallen foes to repair your machine is interesting. The art style is good and the isometric view is wonderfull.

A few suggestions:
- Try to group enemies into waves so that the player has time to collect the gears
- Maybe increase the play area so that the enemies aren't all packed in one area
- Some kind of indicator that an enemy is going to spawn
- The inventory could be made a bit more visible

Apart from that, it's a great game and can probably be made even better.

Off topic, but could you add a fullscreen option to the game? I think it would be more fun to play fullscreen

I tried playing but for whatever reason the player refused to capture my keyboard input so I could only sit in place and act like a turret, I like what I see though

The game is a bit hard has the bullet of the yellow ennemy are the same collors as yours. and you have only one life. nice game

I agree with what people have been saying so far. I would like to be able to shoot the bullets of the enemies to defend myself if possible as well. Art, animations, and concept are great though!

I love the art, excellent use of color. Game is great!

A simple but classic game - dodging and shooting enemies will always be fun! I like that you have a goal of what to collect so you're not just trying to stay alive but actually targeting certain enemies. I found that the stars in the back were a bit distracting - they look similar to the bullets that the enemies shoot.

Nice art style! Gameplay was a bit simple any way too hard at me, I have never been much good at bullet hell shooters and I had to play like 10 times before I was able to finally complete one repair, lol
