Shiine by Ace17
A dark and haunting skill platformer.
Can you reach the top of the tower ? Beware : stable platforms are rare !
This game is HARD and takes no prisoners (blame the theme  ) ... but it's definitely doable.
Keys: - WASD + mouse : move - space : jump - E: activate switch

Tools I used: - Git / Vim / GNU Make / GNU G++ / SDL2 / OpenGL - Blender / Gimp / Audacity - Access Virus TI Synthesizer / AKAI MPK mini / Axis49

I will replay this on another computer because it's even harder with a trackpad 😁
But its too hard for me~
Maybe you can set it a little easier in the begining~:)
Nice use of the Unstable theme.
It's hard, but I kinda enjoy "Rage games", so it's kinda cool <3
One last note: I always write down honest review, because everybody need that, not just nice craps with some bullshit, but sometime I will appreciate very good games. So if this review insult you, but use it well :) Anyway every game is counting so :)
The jumping is already hard but then the sliding makes it even harder.
It would be nice to have the ability to jump in the air (for when you are already falling) and maybe a bit slower fall so that you could sometimes save yourself.
I did try a bunch of times and climbed up to a place where I got stuck between 2 platforms and couldn't move or jump anymore.
So that was a bit of a downer and made me quit.
Overall its a good entry but could be even better with some polish.
Oh btw it does have some similarity with my game :D
Anyway. The game's really fun. I like that it's centered around one tower, so there's a quick way up when you fall. The movement is slidey dogshit, sure, but you can get used to it, which I found really neat. And the fact that it's really short helped too. I feel like if it was a bit longer I would get tired of long quiet time, but a checkpoint system (or just splitting the game into multiple levels the size of this one) would remedy that. Yeah, so, overall, a really nice little game
Fatal: Can't create SDL window: Could not initialize OpenGL / GLES library
If you have any clues on what could fix that, then I'll happily test your game.
Aside from that, I like the level design, well done!
You build the game the hard way. Also kudos.
And it feels solid and smooth, so it’s a nice entry.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
