statistical management game are my favourite, this game looks great, perhaps a longer playthrough would be nicer, but great for a jam submisaion

Today I realised I would never make it in the stock market, but cool game! Really funny

A must play for any member of r/WSB, full of memes but also stonk realities. What I miss however are charts, we need some retro pixel stock charts (and a speed setting)! Also always love me a good backstory, and that some of the "scams" actually work. Music's pretty cool, too.

@mausimus The plan was to add charts right from the start, but I just didn't have the time unfortunately. Glad you enjoyed the humour, I put a lot of effort into that :)

Really love this game, got me addicted for a short while. Was able to complete the game entirely through bonks, that mechanic is a little overpowered lol. All you need is the one stock, don't get the upgrades to add more stocks, and then get the bonk upgrades which get you more stocks per bonk. Soon it'll be raining money. And if you run out of liquid, then sell a few thousand when the market is at its peak and then bonk when it's lower, rinse and repeat.

So addicting, found it weird that the stocks don't immediately crash any time I buy though. Loved the SPCE reference, lmao. A+

This was super addictive, really loved the crpyto miner. The ads were super annoying, stopping me to buy stock at good prices, I managed to pay the mob after 46 days. Really enjoyed the process of buy low and sell high, while investing in perk to move the growth further. The DOS era font was a nice touch.

Good one to chill out for some minutes! My winning strategy was to mine crypto, after I discovered an exploit: once you hit the "bonk" button once it remains with the keyboard focus, so I can just hit space very quickly to buy stock that, on average, is at super good prices -- especially after I manipulated the market to increase the stock price of one of them. :moneybag:

Cool concept, fits the theme rather well I think. I had a hard time remembering what prices I bought the different stocks, I think it would have been nice to have something like a graph of the last few hours prices just to bump memory. As other people have pointed out, and im going to chalk it up as intentional, the crypto seemed to be the way to go, from the beginning if I was willing to click a lot it was a better return on investment then buying stocks, and that just got better as the game went on. I think my final score was 36 days. The music was good background but seemed to cut on and off, or at least there was one bit that was enough louder then the rest that I only started noticing music again when it played. Overall a fun entry for the game jam, well done!

Paid the money back after 67 days. That was way more engaging than I expected. My eyes are dried out from staring at the stock prices not blinking.

I really liked that I started to feel like a stock trader, diversifying my assets between larger more stable assets that showed modest gains, while also investing some portion of my portfolio on the volatile stocks that could go really low in price.

The manipulate BB was nuts - I didn't know what it was going to do. I was at 1.2 million and just needed to get my money out, so I hit the button and wound up cashing out with 2.2 million - LOL.

Oh boy. I think I scammed myself into spending an hour on this game. Very well balanced, I feel like I learned a lot about stonks today. I would have loved a bit more of a climax at the end of the game, as the payoff was very thin. I appreciated the sounds, which were unobtrusive, but would definitely have appreciated some more colourful graphics and imagery. I loved this idea for the theme, and the game is definitely well made.
