Unstable Fury by Wizard
Your life at the Applestow Bio-research lab has been a long and painful ordeal. Years of genetic experimentation inflicted upon you by twisted and sadistic scientists have left you in a state of perpetual Bio-molecular instability, to the point of being outside of a Gamma-zone for more than a fraction of a minute will cause you to melt into a pile of goo.
Knowing that you are not long for this world you might as well bring some righteous retribution to the cretins that caused your suffering, before you are released from this torment.
Disclaimer: this was originally planned for the compo but needed more time to complete. Everything was made by me during the jam weekend.

It was a bit difficult to navigate around cuz the sanity was dropping so fast but it was fun navigating around.
I'm not sure about the application of the theme. Having to return to those zones to charge back up and then go back venturing to find a new one to get further didn't feel like unstable. It felt more like being leashed and kept under control.
The game had a pretty good vibe though and I appreciated the audio. The music loop could have been a bit longer or made to loop in a bit smoother fashion. Still, it's a nice entry!
Simple and very efficient at what the game wants to achieve! Great work!
