Interpun by Moomka

[raw]
made by Moomka for Ludum Dare 49 (COMPO)

The concept of the project changed 2 times and the last one was accepted with 6 hours to go. Unfortunately, I did not have time to implement all the ideas, but the skeleton is already clearly visible. Plunge into the skin of a simple employee of a "very scientific laboratory"

Controls: WASD - move

Space - jump

F - Action/Close dialog

There wasn't enough time for music and sounds :(

Ended up throwing everything inside the reactor :p. The physics is smooth as butter. Well done.

It's pretty impressive to work everything out in 6 hours! I really like the concept of the game. However, I decided to just push all the desks and computers into the reactor instead of picking up objects and threw it one by one. That didn't seem to work though.

First I was like "Well, this is kinda basic...", but then I ready it was made in 6 hours! WOW, in that case it's amazing. The concept is cool, but I understand it couldn't have been done better due to time restrictions. It would be great to have some more stuff to throw in or some kind of destructive environment to use to feed the reactor. But other than that, really impressive work :)

Unlucky that you didn't get to put in any sound effects but was good that you were able to do it in such a short amount of time. I didn't finish the game but I would've liked to see a bit more variation in the task.

whoops I pushed quite a few things to the reactor before even pressing the button, it still worked out and I managed to finish all the tasks

For the 6 hours this too you this is quite good. Sometimes it was a bit hard to pick up the right object, but that's also a feature as pushing stuff around to grab something else is fun as well. Good job!

Definitely impressive for only six hours. My favorite part was the narration; there was a deadpan humor to it that made me really curious what the rest of the story was.

After finishing all the tasks I let the reactor tick down (the timer was pretty generous - having it tick 2x or 3x as fast would have upped the ante a bit). The instability in the reactor and the timer were entertaining. Nice work.

Interesting game, I like how you built everything from basic shapes! The story was funny. Too bad there wasn't time for sounds.

i like the fact that you make a mess first (unknowingly) and then you have to navigate trough it to complete the tasks

the perspective and physics reminded me of playdead's INSIDE game

the small black hole thumbnail is aesthetically pleasing and that was what convinced me to click and play the game , I imagine that with more time you could execute a really nice one

I had fun pushing around the furniture and "cleaning up" the files

kudos!

in first playthrough i got a bug where i pushed a lot of stuff in the reactor and one computer was not destroyed:
