I tried adding the reactive tutorial to help teach players, but it's hard to teach so many rules quickly. \n\nGlad to hear that @barrier! I did play around with some RNG manipulation to make the game more fair. I ended up going with a system that would keep track of the last ~12 rooms you got, and try to not repeat colors too often. it's possible to not get a certain color at all but would be fairly unlikely at the very least. It took me a couple of rounds to really understand how points are calculated (only orthogonally adjacent blocks provide +1 for meeting rooms or rooms of same colour). I think adding a \"next piece\" preview (a la Tetris) would give the player a little more control over the RNG and make it more fun. I like the art style too, and the surprising amount of depth to juggle getting the right rooms together. And I don't know if it's coincidental but the pacing was pretty good too, because I was finishing most of my milestones just in time to avoid failure!
