Let’s save the reactor from evil insane rat Снимок экрана 2021-10-05 001238.png We did this game with my friend https://ldjam.com/users/tayren that sleep now and can't accept my invite to friend. It was our first experience of participation in GameJam and joint development. During these 3 days we mets with enormous difficulties, but in spite of them we can introduce you with our simple game, where you must “feed” the reactor glowing balls. Снимок экрана 2021-10-05 002457.png May be our game not beauty and with some part of bugs, but we make it from zero for 3 days, and it’s realy amazing. We get a lot of fun from this event, and we hope, that you would have fun from our game :D

Controls: Movable: WASD. Take ball: Left mouse button. Throw ball: Right mouse button *update link, because in hurry did smth wrong, and you can’t play our game :(

*update, because i'm confused and made a mistake in discription *update: add my sleeping frined to author's and link, that let you play in browser

Hey, I see you used Unity for this. Can you also build for Linux? Or maybe even build a WebGL version you can play in the browser? E.g. upload it to https://itch.io/

I like the concept and the movement feels nice but I couldn't figure out how to throw the ball while holding it. Pressing right mouse button while lifting it up just makes me drop the ball.

@diharaw94 hey, thank you for your recall. I did something wrong with throwing and it work from time to time. Or it doesn't work for you at all?

I like the idea, but somehow I also can't throw the ball either, the rat sure thinks the ball is fun haha. It keeps moving it, which is a fun challenge to this game :) Maybe a countdown when the meltdown will happen would be a good addition. As it is a mystery when the time runs out now. Also, the movement is a bit difficult when the camera moves like that, maybe that is something you could do diffrently next time :slight_smile: The character is cute, it reminds me of the monopoly or Pringles guy ^^

@diharaw94 I'm very sorry, this is my mistake, I'll try to fix it on the future :sob: Right now, I can give advice: if you want throw ball, you must take them, put on Earth and after this take and throw it. And..I'm sorry that the throw doesn't work currently

Congrats on creating this game! The characters are really lovely and memorable. Took me some time to figure out the throwing as it's tricky to time with dropping it. Once I knew how to throw the only obstacle became jumping up platforms as they felt just slightly too high in some cases to comfortably jump up. I would have really like to have some form of goal beyond just surviving because actually winning is fun ;)
