I can't do anything except gather and brew glimmering potions? Love incremental games so I would want some more options. Cool UI and theme though

@bluemaus yeah had a few more ideas I wanted to implement but was limited by the 48hr timeframe of LD. I tried to at least get a gameplay loop (upgrade potions and scale speed) but would have liked to get in a few more mechanics ie assistants to automate potion brewing, potions requiring rare ingredients with amazing effects, increase the stability of potions so they blow up less.

Woah this is an awesome idea that could totally be developed into a full game, love what I'm seeing so far, aesthetic is great.

Nice entry. I think you got the gist of the early game of an incremental/idle game but as you said yourself, it needs more mechanics to have a more balanced playing time.
Your idea is good and this is a nice proof of concept that can be developped further.
Well done!

I'm glad to see an incremental! Good proof of concept. Only feedback I have is that the actions feel a bit disconnected from the inventory - I didn't immediately see what was happening when I clicked a button. A lot of incrementals put the gather button next to the resource for that reason, or make the inventory really prominent.

@owl-skip @tombuston thank for the lovely comments

@rory-kaufmann I might look at adding a "+1" animation to the herbs to draw more attention when it changes once I polish it up more. Alternatively redesign the layout a little to make it more clear what is where.

Awesome! I might be a sucker for potion-based games, but the different actions distilled the process to a few choices that I could see being expanded on. If we could hire assistants, those potion-interns would be making glimmering potions all day long. I'll flood the village in glimmer while I sleep on my piles of gold coins. I liked the mechanic, and I could see that getting complicated with meaningful choices. Good work!

Nice game. Could use some feedback whether the brewing was successful or not. And perhaps adding simple sounds or music could make it feel better and responsive.

Is that an utility to blue herb ? Or am I leaving too soon ?

Well done getting the core game done in only 48 hours! I can see there's lots of potential to build on here. Nice work!

@elysiagriffin it was a lot of fun getting a live reaction to the game, not often you get feedback and first impressions in that way so thank you so much for that!

@loiclegrosfrere unfortunately not yet, it is certainly intended but I ran out of time getting a lot of what I originally planned implemented.

@khadia thank you for the kind words. I do plan to keep developing this idea out
