Slimestable

An experiment gone wrong, a creation out of bounds. A newly created chemical turned into a slime which is creating energy from thin air, growing more and more dangerous in the process. And yet it also seems aware, hell-bent on escaping the facility it was confined in.

Controls:

Drag and Drop with your mouse to slingshot the slime around the stage, using up energy. You can do this again and again as long as you have enough energy. Use it to double jump, increase or cancel your momentum und slightly adjust your position.

However, don't let the slime become too energized or it might become unstable and explode!

Collect crystals to be able to use and generate more energy, making your jumps more powerful and getting around easier, but also requiring you to keep moving faster and faster.

Really fun Slime here ! Animations are pretty neat and the concept of a slingshot controller is cool. In my opinion the jump height is kinda hard to manage / not high enough, or perhaps I'm just bad. :(

Anyway, always Happy to see a Slime :D

i like the graphics! a bit hard to control, i'm having issues reaching the 3rd platform. not sure how it relates to the theme but maybe i didn't get far enough yet :)

This is a good idea, and a good take on the theme.

Like others have said, I think it's a little too hard. I stuck with it and *eventually* made it up the first few platforms, and the reveal that there's a hidden double jump...

Even though the prompt says you can drag anywhere, I kept finding myself trying to drag from the slime. I'm not sure if this contributed to the difficulty (i.e. because I kept being unable to not drag far enough) but it might be something to consider. From what little I've played it seems like the player almost always needs to make the biggest jump possible -- shrinking the maximum drag distance and increasing the multiplier might make it "feel" easier, even if you don't change anything else.

Loved the concept, as others said, pretty hard to control, maybe some more force, or more friction when you get on the platforms would help, but still with the difficulty, i've spent quite a lot of time trying, had fun. nice job!

Good concept, the controls are a bit hard to handle but it's a fun and original game

It turned out to jump to the second crystal, and then the nerves ran out)

Pretty fun game, would be a nice rage game with a little more work. I feel like the difficulty curve could have been a little less steep.
The main mechanic is pretty hard to get a hang on.
The graphics were nice and the FX added a nice touch, the slime felt bouncy and very fun to see moving.
The sounds were nice and complemented the bouncy feeling of the slime.
Overall a nice game, a little bit on the hard side and also a little rage inducing.

The concept is cool and I like it, but it's too hard for me… impossible to reach the third platform. By the way, the blob's noises are great!

I like the concept here, but I think it's too hard right out of the gate. Maybe slightly less gravity at first would help the player out, and possibly implementing a WASD type control to help out. I managed to make it to the fourth platform, but fell off immediately. The sounds and music were fun!

Graphics look great and the physics of the slime blob are SO COOL! I do agree that it starts off pretty difficult; I think it's good that you added hard areas but it might be nice to ease the player into them a little more by starting with easy gameplay.

Really polished and a lot of fun! It's interesting to have to balance my stability. I think the game is a bit too hard, but overall, great work!
