There were times where a portal would just appear somewhere and the only real option for me was to just wait for it to disappear.  I know that the game gets harder over time but I wasn't clear if that was based on the number of things collected or time. The portals were definitely challenging with the bullets all over the screen. Managed to get a score of 10, wasn't sure if there was a goal other than that. I did have a couple deaths from portals spawning in too close to me, but that's something that's hard to balance for people who just stand in one spot. I encountered a pretty funny bug though. After you are dead if you get hit by a portal's attack your body still gets pushed back. If it pushes you into an essence it still counts towards your final score so for me it went from 8 to 9 while I was already dead.
