Super fun game! You've got a lot going on here, it took me a couple runs before I found the groove.

I don't seem to be able to give it a ranking yet - I guess because the compo isn't over yet, but I'll be sure to come back and show it some love!

Very nice game. I had a lot of fun playing it. 😀

2 things you could improve IMO:
1/ The large enemies kill doesn't give a really positive feedback when killed I would have expected the game to end, the score to take 50 points or at least have a visual feedback.
2/ I think there is small bug with the cheese bonuses, when you take 2 in a row I think the second one doesn't "refresh" the timer during which you would have the bonus.

A good twist on a classic top-down shooter game. I like the fact that you have to balance being in the safe against being able to shoot accurately. A lot of the game revolves around you choosing between the two options, which is neat.

The theme connection was a bit weak although I did like how the bullets did have an unstable trajectory after a certain distance. I was there was a greater variety of enemies/attacks besides (shield enemies, chasers, and boss).

Overall, fun to play to through.

Cool game! The shooting feels nice and the big boss is a toughie. The enemy spawn indicators also seem to block bullets, which is really tough if you have been powered up. With the boss having so much health the game really asks for a lot of variation, which it lacks. 2 enemies and a boss (which is really just a shielded frog with a health bar) and one power up does not really cut it I think. Still, what is there is fun to play!

This is a really cool game! It has an original idea, plays smooth and is easy to understand. The graphics are simple but effective, and show the game-state really well. Nice job!

This was great. There are a lot of little things to keep track of. Having to constantly stay in range of the safety circle, tracking as it gets bigger and smaller, keeping track of my own movement, watching for enemies spawning. All of the mechanics fit together really well to make for a very intense experience.

If I could make a suggest, the lily pads, it took me a while to realize they were only cosmetic. I spent some time trying to avoid them before I realized I could just walk through them. I appreciated that they were there for visual interest but perhaps they could have been more muted in their appearance so as to not appear as foreground elements.

Creative connection between moving and shooting! Maybe more upgrade like dual shots, homing bullets and shotguns?

Very smart use of emojis. The game has good polish for a compo entry and is pretty easy to understand.
One suggestion could be to play more with scale/rotation of the different characters when they get hit to make the action a bit more punchy, but there is already so much going on on screen so good job overall anyway 🐸 !

I like the idea of using emojis for graphics.
Also i like how it becomes more complex and hard over time, not fast, not long, just right!
Well balanced and very interesting to play.
Very good job!

Really interesting game 🐸. also very good use of programmer art. The only tip I have is that it was not directly clear to me when you lose a live. Maybe you could have removed the sprite for half a second or made it red or something like that

Interesting concept and fun to play! The moving circle kind of gave me battle royale vibes. Definitely inspiring for my designer brain, thank you very much! :D

Partly match the theme, maybe next time it will be better.. I dont like game art, try next time invest more time, and it will be better. I dont like audio sorry, not good.

One last note: I always write down honest review, because everybody need that, not just nice craps with some bullshit, but sometime I will aperceite very good games. So if this review insult you, but use it well :) Anyway every game is counting so :)

Solid boss-fight with various different mechanics which play together nicely. Maybe the boss frog has a bit too much health for the brave mouse.

It's a cool game! Really hard to kill those frogs without the cheese BTW xD The graphics are really cute, so as the sound effects. Just don't get how it matches with the "unstable" theme

Really epic! I like how you used actual emoji's and it feels really satysfying to play this!

Really liked the game, I feel like having the bullets and robot be unstable makes the game a bit too hard. I might keep just the circle mechanic in a post jam build. The game was really fun though and felt unique and easy to control.

This is a hard one! I think you did a good job of incorporating the theme into game mechanics; it always feels like there's something that you need to keep an eye on. I agree with some of the others that the boss has too much health; maybe difficulty settings that adjust the health of the boss would be a quick and easy way to make it more accessible.

It's quick to pick up and learn this game - very good job! The connection to the theme is a bit weak, but who cares. :) The graphics have a nice modern touch!

I liked the unstable bullet physics. Couldn't figure out what the cheese did but had fun playing.
