Rock On by Leuthil

Stay balanced on a tilting platform by purchasing upgrades in this challenging action wave-based arcade game.
Let me know in the comments what level you reached! I've only gotten to 17 as my best. There is an end; it's not infinite, but I won't say what level is the last .
Controls (explained in-game):
- Move - WASD
- Aim - Mouse
- Shoot - Mouse left-click
This was a solo project. I did use free music/sfx which are credited below.

The graphics were pretty simple but communicated very well each thing, maybe changing the colors of the cubes would be nice since i thought it was an enemy at first and dodged all of them.
The music was very nice, had a nice vibe to it and the SFX were crunchy.
Overall a really good game, even if it is a little challenging at first
I found it surprisingly difficult to navigate on the unstable platform, especially when I couldn't see the ball anymore when it was tilting backwards. The graphics are simple but efficient.
Well done!
I am not good at it, probably because I am used to controller controls. This would be perfect for a twin stick controller controls.
I would have preferred easier to get extras, as this is just a jam. So I did not get too far.
Things that could be improved on: The difficulty curve feels a little off, goes from zero challenge to almost no challenge to extreme challenge very fast. Probably just some more intervening levels that gradually ramp up would be welcome. I would like to see more visual polish--textures, particle effects, animations, etc.
Overall great work on fulfilling the theme with such a simple, creative, focused game!

Overall, the game is definitely fun and I really liked the way you tackled the power cubes and environmental cubes sliding in on the same plane as the platform, so they never collided with it. I'm sure it was simple to execute, but feels very elegant in motion. Thanks for the game!
