An unstable person is trapped in a loop trying to find their way out. I like the pixel art. I couldn't figure out if there was more to the game than just avoiding ghosts and finding your way through the maze. I did get to the end though, I think? Still, nice job!

The text could've been more clear. Nice pixel art.

Art was cool. It took a while to finish and I wish there was more to the game than just running from ghosts.

Finished it (^^), I think ! (if the end is when you came back to your room and exit the door)
Interesting game revolving around observing patrol pattern of ghost and sneaking around. Loved the pixel art (^w^). Nice job.

@yohsk13 Thanks! I'm glad you spent some time playing our game. And yes you've finished it and that's how it ends; that's why it's named "trapped" :D

Sweet game. Polished well. Nice clean art and animations. Suggestions: 1) Increase player movement speed. I found it way too slow. 2) It would be nice if you could activate a power or something that would let you zoom the camera out temporarily. This would allow me to easier plan my course around the maps. 3) Fix: Ghosts are able to kill you from another room if their radius circle thing overlaps the player. (Use a Raycast check). Great entry :)

Loved traveling through the vents! Great game with good polish. The one thing I think could make this extra fun is if you had a chance to run away once a ghost spots you, rather than dying right away.

I dont usually praise visuals in jam category games beacuse it is unclear if dev made it themselves, but if so, then good job with pixel art! I enjoyed the game but wasnt sure if I reached the end because I walked into some gate and main menu showed up. Also, I advice to not use so many different fonts as interface becomes a bit incoherent. (and if game is pixel art, pixel art fonts would look better). Good job for a jam game.

Nice and simple stealthy kind of game. Adding the narrative at the start definitely helps set it apart a bit. I'd be proud if this was my first published game!

Nice art, but few activities in the game.

A top down pixel art stealth is a pretty cool idea. I liked the graphics even though the character art and ghosting were too out of tune with the scenery. Next time use more similar sprites. Your level design is well done. A tip for your music (I'm a musician so you can think about it): Loopings are very welcome, just don't be too short. Think about a 30-second looping song. 5 seconds repeating endlessly can make players angry.

Congratulations!

Fun little stealth game, reminds me of the brushfire level in Chip's Challenge :) I ran into a dead end once and it was easier to simply run into a ghost than go all the way back. That can be a valid design choice if you continue to develop the game though

Stealth is not something I always see, so this was a refreshing genre to play :)

For your first game jam I think you did really well -- you have a working dialog system for cut scenes AND a working game without major bugs, that is an accomplishment!

Well done!

Really nice artwork. This was pretty playable and challenging, and made me think of a Pac-Man HD remaster heh.

@fractale Thanks for the comments, yes we did use a free source asset pack for the artwork, neither of us are artists so that was essential to get it done in time, the rest of the game is our work though
