The amount of particles gave some random slowdowns, but the movement otherwise felt pretty good. I like the wall double jump combo

The effects for smoke/floating lights give the game a great mood. The art is also very well done, great submission!

Good job on your entry!

I like the physics done on the swinging lanterns. Art animation is top notch for the character animation :D

My advice: I wish we could be warned in advance about certain falls, because it felt like I was being punished without any warning when falling to my doom into a bunch of lanterns

Cute art style and relaxing atmosphere, though the combination of the music and misty was a bit odd.
I didn't realize that you were supposed to knock the chained lights to get past them, and as a result I got a bit stuck on the mustache level. The placement of the pickup led to me realizing it though, so A+ level design!

I really liked the atmosphere! I'd love just a bit more contrast between the character and the background. Mothew blends in to his surroundings very well. Great protection from predators, probably, but difficult for me

The vibe of this game was nice! I appreciate the attention to detail in the art and behavior of the character (being able to pull away from lights and the various associate expressions and whatnot). I'm not sure if it was intentional but I would have liked it if the moth balls respawned after disappearing for a second chance to get to platforms. But overall really enjoyed it, cheers to the team!

Great game, moody and atmospheric, with thoughtful level design. Nice idea to build the user interface elements right into the game world instead of being a separate menu. A post jam version with some improvements like respawning moth balls and gamepad support would be great. Really enjoyed it, good work!

Moody and atmospheric, definitely. A bit of an interesting platformer. I do wish you started the first level with the moth on the right side of that first tutorial guy so I could ignore him if I wanted to.

To me, the strength of this game lies in the visual aesthetics and the tone and mood. I like the calm music, the mist, the chill dialogue and the beautiful animations. The SFX are good, but I wish there were more to make the game more immersive, like walking, jumping and getting caught by the light.

I felt like the gameplay was good, but there is certainly room for improvements. The wall jumping mechanic and gliding mechanic didn't feel right for me. I wish you could also see more of the level. A lot of times I am not sure where the lights and platforms are because things are so huge, and you can only see so little. So most of the time, I had to improvise and trial and error.

I really appreciate the fact that there are multiple levels, and the game gradually introduces the game mechanics as you went on. I think this is the only game jam I have played that did this, so that's really cool.

Overall an awesome submission.

An really nice platformer with cute graphic but tbh the smoke on the ground could be little bit more transparent cause it seem too munch when there also particle in the background.
