When the worst property developer decides to invest on a remote and inaccessible island, you and your tugboat are the only ones who can help and build the most charming housing project.

Pick up the buildings and send them flying on the island so that people can start moving in right away (or not)...

PLAY (🎮 ITCH.IO)

Have you ever thrown houses from a ship to an island in order to build a city on it? No you did not! But now, you will!

Gather buildings, throw them on the island, and try to match them to create bigger and better buildings!

Score the most as you can in 200 seconds, and show your friends that you are the best Shitty Builder!

P.S : be careful, the houses may not be as stable as you think...

CONTROLS

  • Move the ship: WASD
  • Target & Throw: Mouse left button drag then release

This is super cute. I love the lil boat and sound effects. Actually driving the boat around was really satisfying. I kinda just wanted to explore the map but I couldnt go very far! Nice entry

I really like the atmosphere of the gif presentation. Wish I could try the game out (I don't have access to Windows computer).

@fishtaod which platform would you like to try? it's our first game with UE4 so we're not confident about anything apart from Windows but we can try building for Mac or Linux

Charming graphics. Controls are a bit weird but when it clicks its fun. Until the building you matched topples to the sea. I like how the final score is still everchanging depending on the physics. Well done!

Thanks for the concern. I'm on Linux. But if you have an HTML version, that would work too.

I like the chill music. Graphics are nice too. Controlling the shooting feels weird sometimes

This game is unbelievably cute, relaxing and nice to play! Very well done! I wanted to share a picture of my final island but at some point the game crashed giving me a fatal error. I was so focused on stacking that I could not even tell you when the bug happened unfortunately!

Awesome little game with great potential! Graphics are super adorable and music is amazing :) Thank you!

Cute and Chill, had a few problems with the aiming when the boat was at the bottom of the screen, otherwise it is a good entry.

Seems like we can't combine different colored houses. That's a bummer. I guess the scoring system would partly lose its meaning but score doesn't seem to be the essential mechanic at play here.

Rainbow house! Should've been a thing, I swear.

Love it! So cute and poppy. Feels great and I love how the houses just pop around when they get bigger haha

Overall, I think this is quite a nice game. The premise behind combining houses is quite nice, and doing so is satisfying. Your graphics and audio were also very nice. (The water was too bright at points).

My biggest concern is the huge file size for the download. Half a gigabyte is way too much for a game jam game (at least in my opinion).

I wish you got points for actually keeping the houses stable and upright, because that would add to the "unstable" theme.

That aside, I think this was quite a nice game and it felt nice and polished!
Quite Good

The game crashed when the timer went up. That being said, the concept was really fun and innovative. I like combining things together and its quite a fun concept in mobile games, but ive never seen it done like this before! The music and art style lead to a very light hearted atmosphere which was quite refreshing. Well done!

Graphics are really polished and the gameplay is really silly, love it !
My only complaint is the bugs that you have like when you fuse a big house, it jumps in the sky.
Also the mouse controls does not work sometimes ?
And the houses can't be collected even if you're on it sometimes.
Good job and super nice entry !

There are no words to describe how badly I want to play this one!! Looks absolutely gorgeous + the house merging has so much potential * ^ *! I will await the release on further platforms 🤞

I am very happy when I come across games made using the Unreal Engine. I can imagine the problems you may have experienced because we use Unreal. The game has the potential to be a true masterpiece. Both the mechanics of combining things and being able to do them completely using physics are designed in a very suitable way for both the theme and the gameplay.

As a suggestion, I think that not we should not be able to merge the houses in the sea. And maybe houses can be stuck on the island after they become tier 3. These may help make the gameplay more fun. It's a great game with potential. Well done!

@fishtaod @kvebox sorry for the wait, we've been pretty busy this week but I managed to upload a Linux (not tested sadly) and Mac (tested but without shorelines) build. We hope you can enjoy the game!

@bufuak Thank's for your comment. It was our first jam with Unreal (we're pro gamedev using Unity on a daily basis) and it has been quite a ride. We definitely lost at least half day fiddling with Git and Unreal but we're pretty pleased with the result, though we wish we could have done more.

I'm not gonna be so petty as to let this influence the score I give you, but some food for thought.
I get a little irked when a LD game tried to beg me for money when I go to download it, I get it, you worked hard and made something of impressive quality, but so did a lot of people did.
second a half a GB of download size is a big ask for a jam game, I don't know if that's something you can control in UE, or if the base 'cost' is just really high.

Other then that, there is not much to say. this is a really, really, polished and nice game. To the point that I think you could already publish this on a mobile platform and people wouldn't bat an eye!
It gave my that zen like experience that Townscaper has, you should be really proud of this one, good job!
