Frail Ascent by ql28
"Can we try one last time ?"
Frail ascent is a game about the last chance of a civilization ( Our ? Naaahh look at them and their ruined world... clearly it can't be us.) to rise again in the middle of what's left. But can they do it while maintaining the stability of their last home ? Will they ruin everything again or will they manage to preserve the balance.
Well it's up to you.
Manage the last colony and make it grow. But don't be too greedy. Weight matter.

I really have fun to play this game! Thank you)
You make us proud of our creation, glad the game is enjoyable!
We are going to play your games too :)
overal amazing job!
The art was perfect, the audio was great and together they created a great mood.
I zoomed in and saw all the little dudes running around, a very nice touch. But imagine living on a tower and it falling over 😬😬
Also the weather effects really added to it!
Amazing job to all involved!
Sorry for the shaking mouse camera ;;
The buildings have different weight and if you pay attention (if this work well.. :no_mouth:) the weight of the city component is influenced by its population ! We had many more ideas but time was short !
@adrijanc : The babel tower was a reference we wanted to show, you understood our vision !
@curleysam : thanks, we focused a lot (maybe too much ) on small details here and there, and that makes a lot to the feeling !
@curleysam Finaly someone saw my little dudes \o/
Also, i think the physics may be backwards? maybe a negative because it kept leaning towards the side that was empty.
The only problem for me was to figure out where to click to start building. Everything else is awesome!

But, I really enjoyed your art!
