Gossip Market by LoicLeGrosFrere
A game about market rumors...
Trade some stock market share and become the richest of the planet ! You think it's difficult ? Don't worry, you can manipulate stock prices with rumors and other fake news
About controls : - Balance angle control the price - You can see how many actions you have beside the price - Buying will use 10% of your capital - Selling will use 50% of your actions (or all, if < 10) - You can drag and drop rumors where you want (but I advise you to drop rumor on balance) - (Game can run in background but I think it depend of the browser when in another tab)
Good luck !
Fun facts : - First time I do a jam solo ! - I wanted to set global ranking with your place matching the real stat of richess per human on earth, but the plot is so much a nonsense that it just made my unity crash ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - It was supposed to be somewhat multiplayer, but I literally spent 2 days on making something that works with UItoolkit, so... Sorry :sob: - all the "sound design" was made by mouth without any modification

At first I didn't understand anything at all ! But after some test it came slowly ^^
So I think it's like the real market, at first nobody undestand anything then everybody pretend to have understood ;p

Well done! And i agree, that the fake news are too strong.
- at the bot left there will be a TV with a presenter that say about random news that create blocks on the concerned balance (that's why there a three of them originally)
- I wanted to do an online feature to "synchronize" (not necessarily real time, just to add some variations) the presenter events AND boxes spawned by players
(But instead to do some code, thing that I'm used with, I choosed to use my time to make something that no too much developer like to see...)
I think it suits really well the theme and the game can be very addictive once you understand what are you doing!
