The horses were being oppressed. They needed freedom. Now they are stampeding across the globe, flooding in from the Horseverse, in search of new lands.

The Un-Stable -- opposite of what a stable once was in the old days -- is humanity's last refuge, and you have been responsible for keeping the horses out. But there are too many now. And on top of that, your health has been unstable ever since you contracted the equine flu from those darned horses.

Stabilize the portal and get your family to safety. Keep the horses out by using the fireworks. Unfortunately, you yourself won't be able go through the portal, or else you'll spread the equine flu to the new Humanverse.

Controls: Arrows to move (left and right, then up or down if you're in front of the ladder). Type with Z, X, C, or V to interact with environment (you'll see when you play). Press "R" to restart!

Bug fix (10/4): Ability to walk after climbing ladder patched. No features added.

I don't know why, but I couldn't get the hang of which keys to press via muscle memory, I had to look at my keyboard to be sure I was hitting the right ones. Good attempt though

I'm not sure the horse appreciated the fireworks. It's 2am so this is the last game I'm testing before sleep. spinning plates type of deal.

Lol this game was so funny. The sound design was top notch haha. Overall a nice submission!

That horse galloping sound gets 5 stars, no question. Really challenging though, because the used letters are not muscle memory for me. Using ASDF instead might have been easier.

I absolutely loved this game so much- the sound, the lore, the plot, the gameplay, and just everything! My boyfriend & I played this together. We had so much fun and I laughed so hard. Excellent work! :)

I love the typing mechanic and the weird/homemade aesthetic. The horse is so absurd I couldn't possibly be scared of it, but the ominous mouth sounds and slowly increasing scale say otherwise. Amazing.

This is by far the funniest game I've played so far! The galloping sound effect got me real good :) The music was a nice touch too. I'm not sure if this was a bug or not, but when I pressed left/right the character would always move insanely fast, so it was hard to position myself in front of the stations. I think it was only happening to me since nobody else is mentioning it here. That said, I was still able to experience most of the game, and it was pretty fun. Well done!

This is the most ugly drawing of a horse i have ever seen! Totally worth 5 points in graphics! Love it <3

I'll forever be afraid of the louder and louder *chakachaks*.

-It took me a bit to figure out what the sewing machine did.

-Not sure why, but toward the end I got stuck on the ladder. No way off in all 4 directions.

I love the concept- a lot of games have been making the 'horse escape' pun but this game has finally given me a true understanding of "the un-stable". The "anti-stable" if you will. Thank you.

this is the noblest sacrifice I have ever seen in the whole jam T.T it took me at least 4 times to make it through, it's super hard to type those characters. Loved the guitar rocking as if there is no tomorrow

Best sound design I've ever heard!! I was a little confused about what I was supposed to do at first, but I figured it out eventually. Great game!
