The game is stylized, but I am little confused with the controls at first... and the scene is moving so fast that I even dont know where am I. Is the goal to reach higher score? Try to add some functional items to make the progress more fun to play.

Cool visuals, and the actions have a lot of juice in them (nice sound effects and graphics) but it was pretty confusing at first to figure out what i'm supposed to do.. Would be great if the description could have a bit more information, than just the controls.

Whoa, what did I just play? It's really confusing... I like the anime/power rangers design with an arcade machine vide, the smoothness of the movement, but I'd really really like to know what is going on and I am supposed to be doing!! Definitely a stand out though..!

A bit confusing at first but really cool when you get the hang of it! Love the stylistic choices and the visualized inputs!

Hi there! Thanks!! Haha yeah, the game is a bit confusing. Problems for not being a programmer, little time and weird controls.
The game is just a test of movement. try to make the highest score before the character hits the ground.

I wanted to try to create a fast and dynamic game.
now we work to polish the errors, problems and make the objectives clearer.

Damn, these visuals are kicking ass. Very polished.

Controls require some time to understand, I'd say that aiming is kinda confusing at first.

Didn't really understand how to get combos (simple gif on game page would fix that) and what causes gameover, but nevertheless playing the game is satisfying: finishers, UI,and sound are making up a very solid game experience.

I also wish there were highscore table, just to see how I did. By the way, my hi-score was only 20510

The gameplay is unique and the graphic is certainly one of the best I've so far in this game jam.

omg the stylization of this game is awesome! i love the idea i love the atmosphere and i love the action!!!

**the fight mechanic in this game is totally the best and the most satisfying one i ve seen yet..!**

and the fact that you are constantly falling down and you have to keep yourself up higher is adding to the thrill just the right amount! the whole time i played i was totally on the edge !

I really liked the feeling of momentum in this game, and had some fun once I figured out how to target and shoot stuff! I'm not convinced by the score constantly going down, I feel like once you get points you should keep them, and perhaps there's another way to punish players for not being active enough.

I managed to get 14,760 as a high score!

I really like the visuals in this game! I would like there to be a bit more of a view because it's pretty dark to see enemies or balls near you. Not sure if it was just me but I am not sure if the shoot button works (it probably is but I'm able to check). Regardless, the movement is lots of fun and it feels really great getting that score up!

I'd say you made one fun game this jam congratulations!

LOOOVE the artstyle! And those sounds are so PUNCHY! Don't get me started on how good that pause sound is too haha!

Definitely going to have to fill up those star ratings up to 5 on this one! :D

Wow this is very unique! It definitely owns it's aesthetic which is kinda reminiscent of some animated cartoons. Also kinda reminds me of Viewtiful Joe's art style a bit. As others mentioned, the sounds are very crunchy and the controls (while a bit hard to master) are very responsive. The gameplay loop is simple but satisfying and it's very digestible, making it easy to replay quickly.

I wasn't entirely sure what the dots were on the side of the screen, though. I got that they correspond to the different things you can shoot/hit but didn't pick up on the color significance. A little in-game explanation would help with that. Also not sure I get the significance of the power ranger being depressed, but ok sure, let's go with that lol.

Overall a pretty solid entry.

Wow, first thing that grabbed me was the clean visuals, simple but very polished looking. It's a testament to how fun and juicy this game is that I couldn't stop playing even though I had no idea what was going on. The controls felt complicated to me (using two sets of directional inputs had my brain short-circuiting) and beyond that I didn't really get what I was supposed to do at first. Don't understand what the enemies are or why some are dinosaur aliens and some are just dots.

My first time through, shooting felt very juicy but grabbing into enemies felt like a weird pause and took me out of the gameplay. Then I realized you could grab and *then* smack em up and that was a ton of fun! Then I died.

I kind of wish the most fun part of the game (spamming punches) didn't make you game over since it's one of the most flavorful parts of the game! Punching enemies too much didn't read to me as them being unstable, but maybe that's because there is so much going on visually. Same goes for when you get to the bottom, it always comes before I expect it. Personally I would have simplified the controls a bit (locking on seemed a bit superfluous) and focused more on the good juicy action you have going on.

Anyway this comment is too long and nitpicky, this is a jam game and it's a wonder you made it in such a short time! A+ I had a great time playing it.

Game is dripping with style. Definitely one of the more striking visuals of the jam (in my opinion). I love the takedown art especially. The unordinary presentation and movement system are both inspiring. Really cool game :)
