I think that your game is incompatible with displays with higher refresh rate, perhaps. The game seems to run in hyper-speed when I play it.

I have not given a rating yet, but I will gladly do so if the issue can be fixed :)

I think I ran into the same problem with hyper-speed gameplay, as I basically had to buttonmash or else I would instantly crash into the wall. But beyond that the idea is well executed and the visuals are simple but neat. Keep it up!

This took me half an hour. This game is addictive in the best way. Would fit perfect in a Wario Ware style game. Great job.

Is the car getting more volatile the higher the score is? It feels harder to control at higher scores, but that might also just be a trick of the mind.

This is the kind of game where my fingers are in agony but I must keep playing. It is a bit difficult to get into, as it is kind of hard to figure out how things work at first due to just how quickly it'll give the game over menu, but once I figured it out, it was really addictive. Barely managed to get 72. Shoutout to my lowest score of -9.

Nice one, but very hard. The game looks goods, plays good, addictive too. It would be more fun to go further and add some features, concept is interesting!

Very good for 10 hours! Would be nice to have a second or two to get used to it when restarting, but then the difficulty is also what makes it special

@brusnika It is too hard for sure! it was the only way to make something this small engaging, but I'm already thinking in ways of expanding this, could be cool to make a full game using just one button! :D

Definitely a fun little "challenge" of a game. Make this a mobile game with a leaderboard and a way to challenge your friends and I could see this game being really successful. Great job!

It kind of fits that Flappy Bird model of being hypercasual but also insanely difficult at the same time. Was definitely motivating to see how far I could push it, and the "creator highscore" is a very nice element I might steal in the future haha! :D

I really enjoyed the game and feels like you have a nice mobile game here. My recommendations would be sound, an 80s synth soundtrack and an options to change the camera. Sometimes it felt more like I was fighting the camera than the apex.

I hope that is not inspired by real-world driving situations.

Is it just me or is it playing way too fast in my browser? I can barely get above a score of 20 by mashing the spacebar as soon as the game starts. Edit: I just read some of the other comments and yupppppp, I think it's running in double-time or something! My monitor's refresh rate is 144hz for reference. Let me know if you come up with a solution, I'll come back and try it again. :)

@binaryprinciple Thanks a lot for playing! :D You are absolutely right about the camara, in fact I tried to improve it but my PC crashed and lost the editable file, so I left it the way it looks now! A new version would absolutely have a different camera angle :)

@gorypixels works great, I tested it out on iOS (iPhone 11 / Safari). I was able to get up to 121! I could see this being an arcade game like Black Emperor if you added little more variety. Great little mobile game and I love the added challenge of trying to beat the "world record."

It looks interesting, but it is very, very hard!
