Lord Glutton by Spolarium

IMPORTANT: Use arrow keys to move. Fancade's browser (the platform where the game was hosted) is currently on beta so WASD wouldn't work properly.
Lord Glutton demands a feast, and it's up to you to fill his endlessly hungry stomach! Use your trusty shopping cart to move around the market, finding food and avoiding villagers, use the trash can to dispose unwanted items, and make sure to feed the king before he becomes unstable and explodes!
This game was made for fun, but also to show the potential of Fancade to use in much bigger events!

I had collected all three requested items but after that nothing happend. I also had to remember which items the king requested, because the item balloon above his head was out of screen for me.
Other than that I think the game is nicely polished. I really liked the audio in this game.
However, I think Lord Glutton might be a bit upset with me as I let him blow up multiple times :D
Though I'm somewhat glad that the wanderers are serving their purpose, being annoying obstacles
I wish the game controls was more easy to use and to have a little more time for the first few items.
Thank you for making this game! I laugh a lot watching my girlfriend playing
I felt a little frustrated about the control that it is not very smooth, although I'm not sure if this is exactly by design.
Regarding fabioecco's question, in case you ever got the wrong item, there's a bin at the center of the market to dispose it.
I felt like there is not much reason to for items that are far away, I always want with the ones close at hand. Maybe having orders of multiple items or reshuffling one of the listed ones when you deliver another could add a bit more of a challenge. Have that's just me though. I like the slipperiness, it reminds me of what I like to do at the supermarket when no one is watching - starting to run and then lifting yourself up on the shopping cart 🛒😁 It's quite a different experience if you constantly crash into people though 😄
The game felt a little too linear. It sets up a list of 3 items to get, but you don't actually have to collect all three. Maybe change it so you need to collect all three items before you get a new batch of 3 items? Or what if you could collect multiple items at once? Would probably lead to some interesting decision problems, and create a risk/reward scheme where going for more items at once is risky but yields a greater reward. There are many ideas here!
Overall great game! Love the art style, and a very cool take on the theme!
