This game is super cute! I immediately managed to throw myself knee deep in debt but very enjoyable. Lovely animations, and I really like the spikes in ratio across the day - very much the "time for a cup of tea" in the evening.
I only got one bitcoin miner.
Calming wind noises & fitting music.
Windmills are clearly superior!
The sound design is on point, and the graphics are very stylish.
Was there an end condition or is it endless?
There might be some balance problems though. The start is the hardest: or you lose in 30s or the game become unlosable.
Fun overall. Good job !
Really loved the mood with the catchy music
Like it though, trying to quickly adapt to the unstable market. Clever use of the theme.
Thought the music was a bit annoying at first, but it underlined the urgency and stress,
so I grew to like it eventually.
I thought the music and sounds were well done but had to turn it down because I was getting a nasty (*very* loud) popping sound after placing a generator (Firefox, not sure if it was the game or a browser bug).
Fun graphics, easy to grasp gameplay and a rare shift of perspectives! Great work!
Well done!
Gameplay-vise it's quite good. But there is a bit of waiting time after your first building - for consumers to catch up on the power generated and money generated, so you are not in the red anymore. And "endgame" after a few minutes after you can build wind turbines and nuclear plants, it's just a matter of waiting and adding more.
Since you implemented somewhat realistic demand curve over the day, I really want to see some energy storage buildings, that could be stored during the day when it's lower demand, and used up during the evening.
Or maybe an option to manually turn on/off coal and steam turbines (turned off building would not use maintenance)? Again, to better adapt to demand curve, and lose less money over the day.
Ideas for future:
* Random govermental contracts that adjust demand curve for specific time periods.
* Energy storage buildings.
* Infrastructure breakdowns with manual repairs.
* Selling off extra energy.
* Research to unlock new building tech.
Overall great entry, looking forward to update :slight_smile:
