A huge lavamonster invaded a small settlement, disrupting stable prosperity. Even forest monsters flee from the forest in fear, killing all the inhabitants in their path, all that remains for the inhabitants is to flee to the castle. Your task is to have time to save a certain number of inhabitants before a huge monster comes.

Honestly not that bad. The intro cinematic was very well done, but a little bit long for a jam game. Clearly the time constraint left a lot to be desired but at least everything works as expected and the idea of the game is very clear, so good job on that. The fact that drag select and all the RTS mechanics just worked intuitively is also a plus.

You probably know most of the flaws yourself, so the only things I'll point out is that I had a hard time figuring out what to do, mostly because the peasants were pretty hard to see. I initially thought the monsters were soldiers and the soldiers were peasants. So making the peasants more visible would've already helped with clarity.

All in all a valiant attempt.

It was not that bad. The intro was so good!!! but the gameplay was quite confusing. I love the idea of this tho

@quinn-mohamed @tastiham Unfortunately, I did not have time to test the game, so it happened with the gameplay

A nice entry! Just two things!

Peasants having a blue bar, and then enemies having a red bar would help visibility a ton.

Also if the monster makes it to the castle the game doesn't end, it just lags out terribly!

But still, a good entry all around.
