Good looking and nicely implemented game. My (attempted) helpful feedback would be that it can seem a bit cluttered around the character, especially with a big glowing sword flashing around. It's sufficiently challenging but it was common to end up with a clump of enemies in the centre and be moving round in a circle to avoid arrows. This can feel a bit repetitive and grindy.

Also, it might help to start the game of with a low cap on the max number of enemies on screen. This would allow players time to get used to the game mechanics and the subsequent ramping up of difficulty would increase the challenge.

Very nice art style. The audio is great. I love the song.

Looks very nice! I would say that it needs more of a difficulty curve but slashing the enemies was very satisfying due to the graphics and audio!

The game looks really good, love the graphics! It's simple enough and fun to just hack and slash. Feels very smooth too.

It's simple, but really well executed. I really like how satisfying it feels (mostly thanks to all the nice sound effects). Visuals are also really pleasant. Really solid entry overall, great job!

pretty interesting game with a cool artstyle and a nice mood. But i think the gameplay is a bit to linear and the game isn't very optimized

Very reminiscent of old flash games! The combat is fun and fluid and easy to pickup. Would definitely love to play a post-jam version with some more variation and progression added.

Also, the visual effects on the attacks were dope!

A good bit of fun, pretty nicely polished. I second @malcolm that it's too easy to survive just by doing circles.

My experience was that blocking only matters at the end, where I have to remember to use it to maximise coins. The player character and enemy art is very nice, and I like the ~~sword~~ cleaver. Shouting is just for fun right?

I had a really good time with this.

Super polished visuals and sound, with nice music. The weapon effects are very cool.

I like how you combined the block, coin collection, and secondary attack into one thing, it makes it satisfying to use. Sure there's not a whole lot of depth beyond that, but for a jam game it's really impressive and fun to play.

I had something happen a couple times I think where it would start fading to black, then because I thought the round was over I would stop doing anything, but then I would die and have to start over.

Loved the really nice smooth animations and the bloomy/neon effects. The attacking and blocking vfx were really nicely done and felt satisfying. The gameplay was pretty chaotic and overall just became me dashing around swinging wildly but it was definitely fun. Nice work.

Very good VFX, a little strange to pick up coins by blocking. Nice work

Haven't played the game yet but you immediately have my attention with your 10/10 pun game title. :sunglasses:

I have played it now! Enjoying the Binding of Issac / classic Legend of Zelda dungeon feel. Would have liked a _little_ more disco lol

Cool artstyle! But didn't see the unstable theme in the game

This is great! Super clever to combine multiple mechanics into the secondary attack. The combat is very satisfying to master
