The only thing I can think of that would improve this game is a soundtrack. So I guess almost perfect?

Poor fission horsie, how he's sweatin' :D It's very good that it 'auto-saves' at the start of each section/sub-level. Pretty tricky. Very nice. Love the pixel art. Love the sounds. Love the hardcore oldskool physics. I didn't get past the long jump though  An awesome job!

Well done! It has a good mix of obstacles. The levels are tuned well. I couldn't save Herman though. That sea of bombs had me raging.

Very well made game. I love the effects of the horse sweating and exploding. I'm glad I'm not the only one to do a horse pun game!

I love the pun in the game name! The game is very well made, it looks great, it sounds great, levels are fun to go through, and the concept is also great. I spent quite some time playing this, 10/10!

Cool and challenging platformer. I like the drawing. The theme is revealed in a very creative way. Thanks for an interesting time.

it was pretty tough, but i was able to complete it! at first i felt it a bit tedious to wait after every time i moved, but i think it came together more so in the later levels. solid entry!

McAfee wouldn't let me unzip this - it's done that with a couple other games, usually .lua files. A shame - I'd like to play it - my game also involves radioactive horses and the unstable joke :-)

Very solid entry! I like the graphics and the gameplay feels smooth, once you get the hang of it.

Very funny and enjoyable game. Maybe some graphics (surroundings) could be chosen to better match the game.

Surprisingly, it's not the first horse related game I came upon this LD) The game was very nice and smooth, I liked it.

I really liked the unique and slippery physics paired with a fragile protagonist. I thought the spiky wall timed sections were especially interesting to navigate. Would have been cool if a bit more of the level design harnessed the high speeds. Overall though, this is a very good platformer!

The quality of level design and graphics are outstanding for a compo game, it's even better compared to some Jam games! great job

Very fun to play, although the last level was a bit sadistic :smiling_imp:
I liked that you even added a secret!
It felt very polished for something made in 48h.

Wow super addicting game! The physics were hard to get used to, but that's what made it fun and challenging. I loved the sound effects and the pixel art, particularly the sweating animation was cute :D

What a compelling entry! I really rather enjoyed that. A silly and enjoyable concept with a great mix of takes on the theme. Worth it for the pun alone. I found the controls rather difficult and the experience was marred only by a few small things. Some feedback beyond UI for your approaching overheating or too much speed would have been great, and I think two ways of dying in addition to the standard anti-horse hazards was enough, the addition of the spike wall on occasion was a little bit too much to keep track of. But overall, well done, lots of content and a great game for a compo entry.

Really fun! I like how you even managed to put in different block types and varying levels! The last level was brutal though 😭 Took me a while to complete haha. Still, I think it's an amazing entry for a compo game! I can't really tell but I would have liked if there was some coyote time for the jumps :x just to make it feel better haha. Overall, great job!!

The physics in this game are extremely fun. I think this is because of the contrast between your lowest speed and your top speed. At least in my experience, platformers always seem more fun when you start to crank up the player speed, but then as that speed becomes "normal" it becomes less exciting. So, because this game has a normal speed that's pretty low, when I do accelerate to be really fast it remains exciting.

I found the addition of the carrots, especially the secret carrot, to be quite fun. I especially like the way that the secret carrot requires components in all three levels.

The game is pretty hard, but it's ultimately not that bad. After playing through it once it becomes quite a bit easier to get through it again, so I was able to get all the carrots and secrets.

Overall I think this is a really good entry. The only thing really missing is music, but that didn't take away from the fun gameplay or level design.
