Update: Post-jam version fixes major bug where game does not end properly when all humans have reached the portal.
A game about guiding the last living people out of a dying world.

How many people can you escape with? How quickly can you escape?

Use the mouse to select and control the humans. Right click to issue context sensitive commands. Build homes and farms when you can to bolster your numbers while staying on the move to get away from this doomed world. Tiles will fall over time. Trees are a valuable resource but also prevent tiles from falling.
- Middle-click or use arrow keys to move camera around.
- Space bar to snap between goal and nearby humans.
- Alt+enter to toggle fullscreen
- Alt+f4 to quit (lol sorry)
- R at any point to restart the game (be careful!)
Dev Notes: Oops I tried to make an RTS for a game jam. I knew from the get go I was making a Mistake but sometimes you can't shake that one idea. I'm honestly surprised how much I did get done and while it's not my strongest entry by a while it might be the one I've learned the most from in recent memory.

There was a problem at the very end though, I clicked space and error showed up:

Still innocently fun doing crazy lines between landscapes in time before my deforestation destroys the island behind, and had a healthy laugh seeing everyone plummet after I had forgotten about the time limit.
The game was really nice and very intuitive to understand. As Hare Software also mentioned, sometimes the drag select would not work. I also had a few bugs where I could not multitask my people. I wanted to have one team on gathering wood, and another on making bridges towards the portal, but whenever there were two bridges being made at once, one of the two bridges would stop progressing halfway.
Bugs aside I think it was a really enjoyable experience, and very rewarding to get people to the portal. I think the kind of choices you had to make were interesting. For example, do I go straight to the portal, or do I take spend some time and wood to get to this patch of trees of to the side. I liked that it was not immediately obvious which is the better strategy. (At least not to me) In the end I got 15 people out, but seeing other peoples scores this was apparently not that great. I blame it on the spawn I got XD
Really great job! I enjoyed playing a lot :D
