Very engaging game  Before I got first upgrade it was a bit dull, but then the fun part started. The music is great and also the overall style of the game.
Some suggestions:
- xp needed for first upgrades could be lower to engage player quicker
- some sound effects for the lasers would be nice (e.g. pulsating sound implemented as a separate layer synced with music and toggled when the laser is firing)

Wow, that's a surprisingly polished game for the compo!

I love the music, the art, the upgrade system! Damn it's clever and unexpected too see a well thought trough upgrade system in a jam game. Fits the theme very well.

I really enjoyed it. Given enough it could be a great bullet-hell rogue-like or smth...

Love it, amazing job!

Great sprite art and a solid set of interfaces. I imagine over time and testing you could find a pace that really works for the game. Keep it up!

@owca Thanks for feedback! I am glad you enjoyed cristallizato. Also thanks for helpful pieces of advice. I didnt make laser sounds because i thought they would be annoying. But i didnt think about sounds synced with music!

@madjackmcmad Thanks for playing! And yeah, proper balance is something that has always been difficult for me during game jams

@caudatecoder Thanks for playing! Some enemies were meant to shoot bullets, but... limited time said NO :(

Very fun game after a few levels, the “hold down exit button fill bar” is a good idea. it would have saved my first run, if the reset button had that as well, the music is also really good, did you make that yourself ?

@life-lich Thanks for playing! Sorry for this reset button, I should have thought about that. Yes , I made music myself as this is compo entry and there is no other way to put music in game. I am actually also an amateur music producer (XCVZXC on SoundCloud).

At the first time, I didn't get that I could improve the ship, but it's clear enough, maybe you don't have to explain it better.
Very fun game, exploding ships is satisfaction.

Wow this was amazing! I had so much fun.

It would have been interesting to have the negative effects have a random order, so each play is different. Also, if there was a visible marker showing the radius at which you get hurt from using the gun too close to enemies, that would be nice, I killed myself like that because it was hard to tell if I would hurt myself.

Was really fun though, well done!

Great game ! Gameplay felt very satisfying and the music is great. A web version would have been nice, but it was clearly worth the download.
