I think the game could benefit a lot by having the camera zoomed out a little bit more. If the player has no idea where to go, or what their surrounding look like, then all they can do is walk around aimlessly. The maze is so large that I forget places I have already been too, or how to retrace my steps should I need to revisit a location, and all of that could be fixed by having the camera zoom out a little more. I'd say right now the hall your player is walking through takes up 1/3rd of the height of the screen? Making it even just 1/5th of the screen, so you can see at least enough to form shapes and remember some 'landmarks' would make the game much easier for the player.

Also, the intro screen showing you how to play the game would benefit a lot just by having words. For a game centered around love, it's crazy how little communication it has with the player. You don't want to overexplain and treat the player like they've never played a game before, but you absolutely want the player to understand how the game works, and be able to follow along with the rules you're establishing. Additionally, letting the players see where they are going gives them a sense of direction and makes exploring a maze possible.

I really like the design of the characters, and it's a neat mechanic being able or being forced to switch back and forth to achieve a task or avoid failing. I think it's a very promising concep,t it just has a few minor issues that need tweaked. Cool game!
