ps. ironically, the game is kinda unstable as for now.

We finish the basic features for this game, but we have a lot of features to be added.

  • Several weapons to choose at beggining.
  • Some upgrades after the player picks a artifact
  • Some randomness in spawning objects in game, to allow replayability
  • Several improvements to controller scripts

Colourful cute game! Slimes are super fun to bounce ontop of, even though I know it's not that aim, hehe C:

This is the best animation work I've seen in this jam. Well done!

The combat is a bit weird at times, the attack animation takes too long to finish and with no true on hit animations or effects you have no idea to tell if you really hit an enemy, combat on narrow platforms feels just undoable, if the whole concept is to go around fighting things and getting pickups i'd have hoped for the combat and jump to be a bit more polished. But anyway, for the way it is, it works really well, and the art is also fun, was cool to play, for a jam game it feels quite good to play, congratulations on the entry, well done!

I liked the animations and sprites a lot. I had trouble making the jumps to get the collectibles, I think the movement could use some tweaking. Good job though!

I love the art and animations, but the game's really wanting for some sounds, and the physics on the player feel really floaty.

I really like the animations on the player. The jumping was either too high or too floaty, and there was a strong lack of feedback with the combat. Even when I hit something, it seemed to linger for a long time before it went away from dying.

Other than that, really cool and fun game, the animations while long were very cool.

Liked the animations. The movement system was a bit floaty, and the attack action oddly delayed, but the game was certainly playable. Couldn't make the jump for the artifact above the starting position (off-screen, quite a ways up), felt a bit too tight.

Playing on an ultrawide screen (3440x1440), the background didn't span the entire width of the screen, instead going down the middle of the screen with grey stripes at the edges:
