Demolition Mouse by lonewookie
PLAYS BEST WITH A KEYBOARD. IT IS PLAYABLE ON MOBILE, BUT THE VIRTUAL GAMEPAD IS TRICKY TO PLAY WITH.
Name: Demolition Mouse
Story: You are a mouse that has to escape a building before it is demolished. You have 3 lives.
Goal: Your goal is to reach the flag at the top without getting destroyed by the drills that are demolishing the building.
Obstacles: Avoid spikes! Watch out for unstable cheese blocks and slippery ice!
Controls: Arrow keys, Move left and right, use the up arrow (or Z/O) to jump!
This game was made in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 49, the theme of which was "Unstable".
There are only 2 levels, I hope you will try to beat both of them! Thanks for playing!
Warning: There are some minor issues with collision, most notably one where you can get stuck in the corner of another block. IF YOU GET STUCK IN A BLOCK PRESS THE X BUTTON (or X KEY), IT SHOULD REPOSITION YOU ENOUGH TO GET UNSTUCK - PLEASE DON'T USE THIS UNLESS YOU GET STUCK!

I was having a hard time with the slippery controls so I laughed when level 2 started and it was literally made out of ice. I was expecting to ragequit but it wasn't that much more slippery than level 1. Even though I prefer a tighter control style, I still liked the game enough to finish both levels.
Great theme usage, and I enjoyed the variety and general vibe.
But anyway! It was great and I wanted to win the game!
Great work!
Move is little tricky but fun.
I do think that the jump needs more weight to it. I found myself missing jumps because of the floatiness it has.
I wish the game didn't reset me all the way back to level 1 when I gameovered, but it was mostly fine since the game is short. It'd also be nice if I didn't have to wait for the drills to start moving at the start of each level before the screen would scroll.
I like the core gameplay a lot; it's quite compelling. I'd love to play more levels (especially if the physics were tweaked so I felt more in-control of my character). The art is really great; I particularly like the drills, the background bricks, and the background door.
