I think some actual battle sounds and some more melancholy music might have set the mood and the action a bit more solidly. Had some problem with the controls while moving between scenes, had to lift the key and then press again. It was a little disconcerting going blind into the next cell. Doesn't seem like the enemy ever really attacked me. I think there's some really good elements here that will be awesome if you develop it further.
