Take the role of a QA Tester for the new hit game Alien: Ship Happens. Your only task is to complete all of the levels. The problem is, the game build is UNSTABLE so each level has a set of different bugs that you will have to work around or else the game will crash.

CONTROLS:

-A & D to move

-W to jump

-SPACE to fire your laser (can be held)

-R to reset the level

Make sure to read the emails, they tell you what the bugs for each level are ;)

I really like the fake desktop. =}

The fake desktop is indeed a really nice design. The idea of being a game QA is also very creative. The restrictions of bugs were varied and interesting. Perhaps it would be even better if there were more levels, or if the physics were more fine tuned (jumps are so huge that I sometimes underestimated gaps). Overall, well made game!

Wow, what a cool concept! I really like the different fail conditions for each level and the whole desktop view is great as well.

I think it would be really cool as well if you didn't immediately get the mail on what crashes that particular level, maybe there could be a "send email for help" type button? All in all, great game and execution!

The fake desktop was really cool, and I loved the resgination.txt file in the recycle bin. Overall, very funny. I liked the concept of a broken game, and it's also creative how you wove a small story into that. The later levels were challenging, but short, so nothing frustrating. Overall, very fun and quite enjoyable.

This took me more hours than I'm willing to admit.

A sub-10s level 5 is possible, but I've reached my limit on this :)

By far the best game of the jam I've played so far - well polished and really fun to play!

Was able to pull these off after a bit of trying, you guys are cracked, love it!
The game is pretty dang sweet by the way, as if my want to try and speedrun it isn't an indicator :P![32f23f23f.PNG](///raw/b09/c3/z/47c81.png)

Interesting idea. The PC OS and the unstability theme usage are very creative =). Congrats for the great work!

Excellent idea for the theme and fun game to play. Some good humour in there too that made me laugh, the resignation in the recycle bin for one lol. Played through all five levels and enjoyed each of them. The UFO at the end was a nice way to finish the game too. Nice work!

Great idea and great execution! I really like the desktop and the bugs that makes you think differently at each level and the time trials adds a replayability that's pretty rare for a game jam, good job!

Loved this concept- I like how the base mechanics stayed the same, but the ways in which I had to be resourceful kept changing. I had a lot of trouble on level 5 (but it is the final level, after all) but I really got a lot of enjoyment out of these shifting limitations. Really cool game!

I like the idea, the level twists were an interesting take. While the PC OS thing was interesting, I am not sure it really added all that much to the game as a whole. I think the level themes should have been made more apparent than the small text e-mail like thing that shows up, as the text was pretty small (at least on my screen), and you had to get through a wall of text to see what the actual objectives were.

LOVE it, really fun game with a great theme. Great to have your best times for each of the levels and really good difficulty increases across the different levels.
