cool concept. the graphic are cute, and the tutorial was a nice touch. I had a bit of trouble figuring out that you have to slam on the rubble in the sky, but once I did the game was really fun and interesting.

also "Beff Jezos", ha ha

Very simple, but well polished! It took me 4-5 tries before I figured out I was supposed to be slamming down on the debris to continue to climb. It's very hard, but satisfying to get a good run. I found myself pretty frustrated sometimes by how quickly the screen scrolled down, where I couldn't bounce on a piece of debris that had left the screen, even though I could get the altitude to keep up with the screen scroll if I were to hit it. It kinda forces a more aggressive play, which was fine but a bit uncomfortable for what was initially most natural/intuitive for me. Overall, nice pure game-play and well executed.

Nice little game. Has some Doodle Jump vibes to it, so it's kind of addicting. I could see myself playing it when I'm bored just to see how far I can get. I thought the movement was too slow at first, but the mouse-controls fix that issue for me. Nice little entry.

The bounce interaction is extremely satisfying, it makes the whole interaction super addictive. Well done!

A nice little game with the Doodlejump vibes. The controls feels tight, but anyway it's fun to playz

Lot's of fun! Playing with the keyboard controls was a little challenging. Took a minute to figure out I was trying to jump off the rocket junk and not avoid it, but it was smooth sailing after that. Well done!

Addictive and fun, I really enjoyed it! As mentioned by others it reminds me of doodlejump, but it felt great and looked very polished. I could easily see myself playing this on mobile

Congrats on a great entry! :)

You had me at "Beff Jezos". This is a lot of fun! It took a bit for me to get the hang of it, but became super addictive once I got the basics down. Maybe starting off the level with some slightly larger platforms would help to get new players into the groove a bit quicker?

I played the mobile version and I'm surprised at how well the controls converted over. The game is simple and polished I like it. The soundtrack had me grooving.

Landing a double jump sometimes is tricky but I think it just needed a bit more time to tweak.

Well done!

Switching to mouse helped me a lot to get into the game, as the green line was there and helped aiming with more precision!

Thanks for the game :)

Turns out getting into space isn't that hard, don't know why we aren't on Mars yet.

Fun game! Very well polished overall. Having the option to choose between mouse and keyboard controls is really nice, I preferred the mouse controls, but both seem good. Good job!

A nicely polished arcade game - I like the slamming mechanic a lot. I also like all the control options!

I do wish this game had a bit more to it, and I'd like to see it lean into the theme a bit more.

Good job, though! :)

High score of 16000! I found the movement a bit slow, it was hard to get across the screen, so I couldn't really get where I wanted to go. Aside from that, really clean game.

Neat little game. It was fun trying to race the rocket / see how long I could stay in front of it.

It was really fun, I played a couple of runs and reached a bit over 50000. It wasn't completely obvious at first that you were supposed to slam the debris as well, but after I figured that out it was really fun! Maybe try spacing out the debris a bit further? Overall really nice game! :D

So fun! Very very polished, especially for a jam game, very good graphics, sounds and animations. For how long the game expects you to play to win it though, it would be better to have more variety instead of just having to do the same thing over and over. I think I got pretty far, tried lots of times, it was addictive!

This was very addictive, this was my high score for now:

![astrojump.png](///raw/bdb/1/z/47afc.png)

(one thing that I'd nitpick is that when the current score is better than the high score, it should've become the new high score on the same screen too)

Very nice, skill-based game! I saw myself improving at every play, never too boring. The slam mechanic was a nice twist on the standard jumper/tower genre.

Looks like you went for the "learn by doing" approach. Picking up stuff at the beginning is teaching you left/right arrows, then "press down twice" teaches you the slam. But it took me some time to understand that I should slam the stuff in the air and not pick them up... A hint there, even a text-one, could help.

Restarting using the mouse was a bit tedious in a keyboard based game, restarting with the keyboard could make the game flow better.
