Box Wars by Steven Garberg

[raw]
made by Steven Garberg for Ludum Dare 49 (JAM)

Our Ludum Dare entry Box Wars is a cross-platform multiplayer game that is fast paced and tons of fun. Fight to be king of the box wars by flinging ping pong balls across the map to knock your opponent from their tower of boxes. Be careful though, one bad throw can send you flying to your doom!

Please note: This game is an unfinished networking prototype. The main game loop is not finished, however, players may connect to the server via WebGL or Windows client and shoot ping pong balls at each other and at the boxes. The server will reset state any time a player disconnects.

Hey guys, I tried to connect with the WebGL version, but got this error. Let me know if you fix it so I can give it another try ;)

The game has an interesting concept but the networking and gameplay could be improved. Still an amazing attempt adding networking to a game jam game!
