a very cool game the ship was pretty much unstable and the gameplay was unstable too, art was beautiful, good game <3

The character has one giant jump ability there :D The unstable ship makes sense, I am not sure why this guy is re-arranging chairs when it is about to go down but I assume thats the point that there is no point? haha

As for the controls I would recommend using just one button to pick up and throw, that would make it easier to understand.

Good job in getting this little game done in 48h!

@marc-grabow The jump ability is a happy coincidence of me getting to grips with Godot's physics system while also trying to make sure you couldn't get too stuck when the boat is tilted at 90 degrees. I'd probably have it be a bit less intense if I had more time to play with it.

Pick up and throw are different buttons so you can gently place chairs rather than yeeting them across the ship every time.

Got it done in a bit over 48h as is a Jam not a compo :) thanks.

Nice game. I really like the music, it fits well with the ship theme :) The art style is nice too. The controls feels a little bit off in my opinion, but nothing game breaking. Good job!

Nice game! Fits the theme very well. I wish you could turn around when holding a chair.

Nice idea. I struggled quite a bit throwing the deckchairs that made it a little frustrating.

I like the idea a lot. It was a bit frustrating to no be able to change directions once you pick up the chair, but this was fun!

The game fits game well withing the team. Sometimes the throw was more like I was pushing them about. And changing directions would a lot to the feel. But I did like the unstable deck pretty good idea! Well done!

Lovely art and sound design. The game has a very charming vibe to it. The concept is pretty funny (I laughed at the full title when I saw it) and works well for the theme. One thing that was a little weird is that you can't jump unless you're moving. It doesn't detract from finishing the game, but I thought the input was broken at first. I like how just throwing the deckchairs is more efficient than dragging them. Nice job!

@mediflect huh, I never caught that you can't jump when stationary (and the ship is tilted). That's actually helped me a lot with getting to grips with Godot's physics system (and what I did wrong). I'd like that comment twice if I could!

Nice game! The idea of a tilting/rotating environment is pretty cool, and makes for a nice challenge (i.e. only being able to make it to the left area when the ship is sufficiently tilted... though admittedly waiting for the ship to tilt back to get into the main area again was a bit boring haha). The graphics are quite nice and the music and sound effects suit it well. Well done!

@dingledorf Thanks :). There are extra score areas (and chairs but they often fall down) on the "side" of the ship to account for a situation where the tilting trapped the player or all the chairs somewhere where they couldn't reach the main area.
