Instructions

You are a horse.
Well not the whole horse, just the tail.
The horse is called Callum Longface.
Swat the flies on Callum or he'll get frustrated.
You wouldn't like him when he's frustrated.
You can't swat flies with the whole tail, just the tip.
Click the screen to swish the tip towards your mouse, swing back and forth to build momentum to hit the higher flies.

I love the intro text and the sounds! I couldn't quite figure out how to properly control the tail, Callum wasn't too happy about it :P

Very clever interpretation of the theme! I couldn't get the tail to do much, so unfortunately Callum will have to live with the flies another day.

Nice entry; great sound and an interesting take of the theme for sure. The timer on the flies was a really nice touch. The actual controls are quite difficult I did knock some flies off but I found the higher they were the harder.

A game I can truly connect with! I also hate flys, specially when they fly on or around me. The music and sound are awesome. Think the tail controls could be a little more like QWOP but other than that I really enjoyed my time playing it :)

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I think I could've explained the tail controls better - clicking will make the tip move towards your mouse, but you need to swing back and forth to build momentum to hit the higher flies

Loved those little sound effects! very interesting concept, could be cool to see it developed further with some sort of evoution tree, with a broader tail (but slower) or a thinner one (But faster), but for a jam entry, a very well done little game! :D

the controls are explained better in the comments. you have to swing the tail back and forth by moving the mouse. I think if I watched someone else play I could get better and I think it should just have much longer delays for the flies. Maybe in the later levels it would have shorter delays? Still its cute pixel art and nice physics and I liked it and the humor of the whole idea and how it fits the theme. Nice work!

I liked the unique concept. I eventually managed to get the tail whipping around pretty good like the whip in Castlevania, and I was able to hit one fly.

The art is very charming, and the sound effects are funny.

It took me some time too figuring out I needed to click and drag to control the tail.

I liked the quite innovative double approach to the theme (horse context and unstable tail). I had trouble learning to control the tail though. A bit easier start would make it more easy to approach. Overall very nice work!

My best score 35 seconds.

I *really* couldn't figure out how to make the tail do anything, until I found your comment hidden in the middle of this, maybe update your entry description with how to make the tail move! I kept clicking and it just seemed to jitter around randomly. Nice sounds!
