Nice twist on tower building - rockets are always a plus 🚀

Nice visuals! Simple and fun gameplay that fits the theme well. Maybe the controls could be a slight bit more responsive, but I understand that it is meant to be a little hard to control.

One suggestion for a future feature would perhaps be a small icon notifying the player what block shape comes next. This could create a need for quick planning while playing.

Well done!

This game goes great with the theme, amazing game. Moving the homes are challenging, but that makes the game fun in a way. solid 4/5.

This was fun and looked really good, though in my opinion the rocket was a bit too fast. Really good job nonetheless!

Visuals look really nice and have almost too much detail for this game. Reminded me of Tricky Towers. Controls are wanky because the pieces have too much bounce. I would have made it so the UP-arrow activates the thrusters on the currently falling piece, to slow down the fall and give the players some way to "cheat" a little. :house: :smirk:

Nice take on the tetris concept. I only got to 23 families. Would be good if you could see the next piece so you can plan out your stacking a bit more.

@memoryfloater Thanks! Speaking about detailed graphics, we were lucky that we could just use a bunch of photos and really simple geometry :) We actually had a prototype with UP-arrow working, but we had a problem with balancing that.

@butterfly Yeah, we were thinking about this but ultimately didn't manage to implement it.

This is very great soviet engineering comrad. Simple tetris game, but whit awesome 3d art, from specific era. Physics is also fresh in tetris game.

Panels houses are very intestesting idea :)

Nice game with solid execution ! The next Elon Musk company I guess. Like the finish screen, when you see your mess :) thanks !

Well done lads. Although I bit too fast & hard for my taste I liked the idea and the execution. Brings back memories of my Polish childhood 🏬

As a big Tetris fan, i love the idea. Nice and smooth gameplay. The city ambience has almost completed the game. Nice work guys!

Ha, this is great! Got to 38 after a few tries. There is no way to rotate the houses, as in tetris, but they simply fall down right? Or did I miss a key or something? Either way, super fun, and the "socialist prefab block vibes" are great. :D

@very-dark-lord no rotation, we can't allow somebody to have ceiling as a floor or doors placed vertically ;)

Nice! My best is 41. It got easier once I realized I didn't need to stack on top of the previous and could spread them out more. Really cool game. The art and design were solid. I appreciated the subtle differences in the block art. Great entry!

Also not related to this game, but your other game Cathedral 3-D is really cool looking too!

@ericfreeman thank you for playing! Yup, the best strategy seems to be to start with a solid wide foundation. Also thanks for checking out Cathedral ;)

Building a tower is a pretty obvious take on the unstable theme but this one is very interesting and original. The visuals are nice. The controls are quite hard from the beginning (the pieces of construction move very fast) but it is quite easy to get used to it. The only thing I would change is mapping the 'START CONSTRUCTION' button also to some key on the keyboard so you don't need to use your mouse when you want to restart the game.

@flying-basement-studio Thanks for kind words and playing! The start is actually mapped to space, but unfortunately the game doesn’t inform about that ;) To be honest we would love to have restart (R key btw) go straight back to the game again, but since we did the start screen in literal last minutes of the jam, it works as it works ;)

What an amazing Soviet technology! Nikita Khrushchev would be proud! :)

PS. The west needs to get these plans ASAP to solve the looming housing crisis...

Very cool game, I think you nailed the gravity settings for each block. It doesn't feel too hard to control, and once it lands it feel solid and weighty. I got to about 20 before it fell over, nice work!
