A fun little masocore platformer. This is right up my alley. I think the concept is interesting. Losing progress every time you die forces you to get better and better at each level in order to progress. It's definitely not for everyone, but I enjoyed it.

The movement feels a bit too floaty, you accelerate very slow and the top speed is too high, but then again that may be intentional for this kind of game. Definitely not something for me, but I can appreciate the thought behind making it.

Very intense game :). I ended up playing that for a long time, so I think the difficulty balance is pretty good - tricky enough to encourage the player to keeo trying, but not frustrating enough to make them rage quit. Overall, I had a good time with this game.

It's a little tough to control, but I guess that contributes to it being a rage game, overall I enjoyed it

Pretty good minimalist platformer, although I found some areas where you can get stuck and there's no way to restart. (This includes the second level)

Really great game, tough to control but not unfair. Dying setting you back a screen, but not the complete beginning, is very fun and punishing.

"Try not to rage in this puzzle platformer where all you're progress can disappear". This is impossible! haha
I thought the game quite punitive. But I liked it! Great job

Okey, I got through 4 or 5 levels, then quickly back to level one.... After that I just kept dying and the rage kept rising. Great job anyway, the difficulty gave me some "super meat boy" vibes.

Interesting game one thing that I think it is missing is shadow in place where you would land. It would help with learning curve

Fun game, although I generally wasn't a big fan of mixing in random hidden spikes, I got to the rotating platform level and was excited that I made it past them and then immediately landed on the hidden spikes, mixing them in randomly feels very unfair to an otherwise skill focused game, maybe a level or two more about them would be better. Overall well done, well polished for the compo.

Really did like the design and the idea, sadly in the purple level (with the moving "stars" I sometimes fell trough the platforms, which was pretty frustrating, since this wasn't supposed to be a feature (I guess?. But overall a nice game, even though I yelled at it :D

@chuchugeralt Thanks for the feedback! Yeah falling through the platforms is definitely a bug - but I can't seem to recreate it myself right now - I'll have to look into that lol.

Game looks good, would have probably enjoyed it a lot more if the character did not clip through walls. Really enjoyed the simplicity of the graphics and the audio.

I wanna be the boshi, Ludum Dare version.
Neat simple graphics with good color palettes that serves the game well.
The hitbox on the platform's edges could be a tad bit more generous, but very nice platformer overall.

I was about to say: "I think it's not fair to go back to the previous level when you lose, it's too frustrating"...and then I realized it was the whole concept ahah. I'm not sure I would appreciate this in a full game (punitive mechanics can be interesting, but I prefer when it is balanced with rewarding ones), but since I really enjoy this kind of simple platformer (simple but effective design, graphics, sounds and music), it was fun to play!
