made by Emkani for Ludum Dare 49 (JAM)

Play a hardcore version of "Hot Potato" in this cyberpunk universe, where the potatoes have been swapped out with grenades!

It seemed really hard to keep the shots on the platform, as they tended to roll off even if it was a good shot. It also wasn't clear at first (I didn't read the text at the start though) on what the goal was... I saw that there were waves, but it wasn't until I tried shooting it at the dude until I realized what was going on. Maybe some barriers on the enemy platform would have helped with the rolling off problem? It's especially punishing due to it reappearing on your platform after it unavoidably rolls off.

This game was so intense! I managed to beat it on the second try, but I had only one platform left and I felt like that was the end xD

Anyway, the concept is very nice. I like the different effects and the fact that there can be several platforms around you. The music was nice as well.

The only thing I had a problem with was the graphics of the floors. I found it difficult to spot the one tile that has been destroyed, but with 4 intact tiles next to it. I kept falling into this hole on my first try. If you could add some more color to the floor, this situation can be very easily avoided.

Nonetheless good job! I enjoyed playing this game a lot!

The only complaint I have is about the sensitivity. Other than that it's a fun game.

A little unclear what the goal was (I kept trying to hit the enemies with the grenades, only for it to not do anything?), but otherwise an amazing submission. Looks sharp, clever ideas, and anything 3D that works is really impressive on this timeline.

The idea was really cool! I found it extremely hard to keep the bombs on the enemy platforms, and was often enraged by good aim being ruined by the bomb rolling off the edge

Overall it was very pretty and I loved how the music ramped up with the waves.

That was a fun idea, but from the description, I was expecting more of a multiplayer hot potato, than a platform defense thing. It was still kinda fun, tho. Especially loved the atmosphere, art style and music.

Also, I have no idea if this was intentional or not -- you can push enemies off their platform yourself and kill them this way

Nice job. It was rather difficult to shoot the grenades and keep them on the enemies platform. Also the camera has no rotation limit and I could go beyond the feet. The first time it happened was right after falling off the platform and i got really confused. But it was fun to play.

Victory! I cannot press "Retry" though. I liked the concept, although I thought it could be a little faster overall. I would have liked to have some sort of skybox but other than that it looked nice. Music was fine too although noticably not made FOR the game. I never managed to die so that makes it very forgiving but also pretty easy.
Thanks for your work :)

I liked the concept a lot and the graphics were nice. Though it's a bit disappointing that the different grenades had no effects on the platforms below enemies, and that only the yellow ones could be used to beat them. It would have felt better if we had both the option of making the enemies fall through the knockback grenades as well as being able to break the platforms below them with the red ones. Also I've found that jumping on the enemie's platforms and running into them was a quite effective tactic to make them fall, which didn't feel like intended gameplay.
