Nice use of the theme, which I usually find to be the hardest part of LD, so well done there.

The first big jump took me embarrassingly long to figure out. I thought I probably had to boost myself with the gun knockback, so I tried firing down, and when that didn't boost me, I gave up on the idea. In hindsight, it was probably pretty obvious that I had to boost sideways instead. I blame lack of sleep.

I found the controls a little slippery, and got knocked down the tower many times, which felt frustrating. I find it hard to do precision platforming with my left hand while aiming with the mouse in the other hand, but that might just be a me thing.

Oh, I see the description now. "Rage platformer". Okay, fair enough XD

a rage platformer like getting over it haha its great! otoh in the same ways that getting over it is terrible this is also terrible lol. I got pretty far if you ask me but I gave up but had fun for a while and if I were more of a fan of these games I would have liked it more. I like it now though and the controls were good and the graphics worked and the gun mechanic was unique and interesting. nice work!

Nice game, and great use of the theme. I liked how you had to rely on the enemies in some instances to bounce you far enough onto another platform. The pixel art and sfx are great and very fitting. Nice job!

The recoil of the gun took some getting used to but I see how it makes the game more interesting than your typical platformer! For instance you could use the gun to fire away from you while jumping to cover larger gaps. I only wish the same was true for firing downward so that I could triple jump in a way. Just an idea. Good platformer concept and execution.
