I had very good time to play this game. Fx are nice, animations and controls are smooth. The difficulty increase gradualy, so it let time to the player to learn mechanics.
Drawbacks : no sound (this is a bug ?) and the fullscreen doesn't work.
With a great audio, it could be an amazing game.
Overall, great entry
I especially enjoyed the balance aspect. Wouldn't mind if that part would have been explored a little more instead of the bullets. Nevertheless, it was a very nice game.
A bit of music and sound effects would have been really awesome. Especially for this kind of game.
After getting a hang of it, the balancing is actually quite nice. At first I thought it was too hard.
The fast projectiles that split in 3 are still almost always an instant kill.
@fat-cat Lol I haven't won too! :-/ I think I got to round 15 / 15 once with insanely good RNG, but I still haven't beaten the game. And I've beaten Jevil and Spamton NEO! (Not sure is that a massive acheivement in bullet-hell games, but whatever.) Anyway, I really should have just left it at 10 rounds...
One thing I like about this game that the other balance games don't convey is the whole glass + square peg feel. That plus the general weights and physics made this feel like an actual glass table that was wobbling around. I thought that felt both fantastic, and also something familiar, unlike say a disk on top of a pyramid.
That wobbliness definitely led to some very intense moments, especially with the spread shot that makes you go fairly far away to escape.
On the topic of a different sort of balance, whenever there were 2 shooters and one of them was a split shot, I knew I was done lol. I maybe got past wave 10? I tried to keep count manually but it wasn't easy keeping track of that while playing.
I really liked the concept. It was a very close quarters dodging game with balancing to boot. A totally intense game experience even for bullet hell vets like myself.
@peachtreeoath I just used Unity's built-in physics ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - I also overrode pretty much everything's position each physics frame to be at a certain point in relation to the board (which was attached to each script) and just let the mass of Unity's rigidbodies handle the rest.
And yeah, I should have made the game mildy beatable...
P.s I had a lot of fun from your game, thank you for her
The gameplay is good too, various bullets and patterns make it challenging perhaps even a bit hard the first few tries.
In short good job it's a nice entry !
Congratulations on the contribution.
The art is very nice I really liked it.
Solid entry!
