Awesome game! Interesting take on unstable! The soundtrack syncing with the pressure rising was cool. Would have been good if the words to write were central on the screen, but great work! Should rate highly!

That was quite fun. It was satisfying when your prompt tossed in like 10 items into the pot. I played on hard and got a score of 9920. I also enjoyed some of the generated phrases. Like "Four dumb fish," or "one American carrot." Nice work on this one!

A Fun experience! I'd never thought i would laugh on seeing the default cube thrown into a cauldron, or when seeing my house explode. Amazing entry!

Really fun typing game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 49 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/d0CZearFG8U

I laughed out loud when the house explosion cinematic happened. Really cool game with great presentation! A simple idea but executed extremely well. One thing I would critique is I wish there was a mistype noise. That way barbarians like me who look down when they type know they missed something lol.

I really liked your Game! Nice soundtrack and nice graphics. I encountered a Bug when there are long sentences I get a line break and the white "background word" is in the new line but the blue "typed word" is still in the upper line.

@zantze I managed to play it! It just loaded for too long, but it loaded anyway.

Congratulation for finishing the compo! This game feels so complete and I like those different levels of difficulty. I thing it would be great to add some positive feedback for the player like cool vfx if a player typed really fast that spell (maybe there such stuff, i just didn't get there). Really nice job!

@d094 good to hear! thanks for the feedback! I completely forgot to add any feedback when you type right/wrong. I guess I've learned something

7341 in hard mode. The end game was so intense x) I was distracted by the blue word that didn't came over the white word when the whole sentence was one two separate lines x) I was not sure I was typing the correct thing x)

I really loved that the music intensifies with the difficulty of the game, and that was pretty fun to hear twentythree consecutive sploshes ahah x)

Really fun and the difficulty curve is really smooth too, the player has time to get in the game.

Very well done!

Nice game, had a lot of fun playing. I spent most of my time staring at the words and could not appreciate the animations. Maybe make the text closer to the cauldron and add some delay between words?

Wow! I love it! I played in hard mode and it was really fun, at some point I just wanted to see those words change color to blue no matter what ahahaha
The music fits really well and, the effect of things going into the cauldron were pleasant to hear.

Great game, even though it is a simple one. I liked how it suddenly threw like twenty things inside :D

"OLD SPICE" was my favorite ingredient.

I was also somewhat distracted by the line break issue that @erikengineengineer and @mathiouza mentioned.

It was fun and did a good job of getting you to feel the rising intensity.

9281 on easy mode.

7480 on hard mode.

Very fun game!

Pros
- Good and neat graphics
- Ending with the exploding house is great, made me laugh
- Music & Sounds
- Easy and straightforward to understand, good job on that!

Cons
- Not really a con, but wishing something different would happen when we go further in the game, like having some twist in the gameplay at some point which makes the typing challenge evolve with a different metric than just the length of the words

Overall it's impressive and fun work for a compo entry, well done!

This was a fun experience, and it looks and sounds really well polished for a compo game! (Aside from the music cutting a little when it transitions. I believe that's kind of a Unity thing though, to an extent.)
I agree that it is very satisfying to see a large number of things thrown into the pot. One thing that kind of bugged me was that the word itself was really far away from the pot in the middle way down in the bottom left corner, since I was playing in full screen, so I didn't really get to pay much attention to the beautiful animations in the center of the screen.
Also, I find it a little bit weird that there is essentially no punishment for mistyping a word. I'd maybe have expected that it discards the ingredient and you'd have to type a new one without resetting the timer or something. Maybe just for hard mode, too. I got a score of 11060 in that, and I typed so many things wrong, lol.

Fun game! I love the animation and sound effect when the ingredients pop into the pot. Impressing graphics for a single developer in 48 hours. I got 2700 in hard mode, and I'm sure I will perform better if I were a native speaker. Lol.

Funny that someone got the exact same take on the theme than me, I expected it to be a bit original. I wonder how many of us there are now.

Anyway, the game is great. It's very well polished, especially for a compo. The typing game works great with the potion idea, the graphics are amazing and the music speeding up adds a lot. Impressive stuff !

@yorsh haha, atleast your game doesn't have the same name as mine! I've seen multiple games with same name

Your game looks pretty cozy, I gotta try it later!

This is the most fun typing game of all time. I enjoyed the random ingredient generator so much. Throwing seventeen expensive swan eggs into a cauldron is not something you do every day! I loved the satisfying sound of things falling in, and how some of them just miss, but we carry on (no wonder the potion is unstable)

This was a delicious experience!

Oh, I like sound design so much. I mean... It just cool. I like music, sounds and it makes game more enjoyable. Really liked game. Btw. Is hot fun european water from France?

The visuals, audio design, and overall goofiness of this game really elevates this beyond just a simple typing game, in my opinion! My favorite little touch was how the number you typed corresponded with how many objects would actually fly into the cauldron.

Very nice!!

Jammin! I got 7300 hardmode. Clearly some better typers out there. I kept stumbling on the word euroro- europena- EUROPEAN for some reason!

Cool vibe for sure, and the way it didn't ravage me for any mistakes (and even allowed me to skip spaces) was a nice touch that let me try to go really fast without hesitation or fear, and avoided the feelbad moment of just hitting one wrong key to be gameover. Smart design.

The environment was nicely done, although the gameplay didn't really allow me to look around at it very much, so I'm not sure I took advantage of the eyecandy.

Sound and music really clinched the atmosphere and made it all work.

Nice all-around compo, well done.
