[raw]
made by Ibrahim Oezhan for Ludum Dare 49 (JAM)

The controls are explained in the game.

Not a bad game! It fit the theme really well and had me screaming at it quite a lot. My only critique is that it takes a long time for the game to score your submission. Good Job!

I chickened out at the end but I felt good up until then! Fun game, always a good time to pile shit on top of itself to see how far you can go!

Had a great time playing this! :D With some tweaking could be an interesting fully-fledged game, with challenges with limited budget, for example. Great to have some music added to the mix too! Great job! :D

Made it to 26.6 meters with only the skinny tall blocks (9 of them I think). The tower fell over partway through scoring, but it still counted!

I think I found a bug. :)

Great game! It fits the theme perfectly as the gameplay itself is described by the theme, not only the setting! And it was nice that you put the time to make some simple audio also. The controls were also nice and clean and it really helps that the key bindings are on the screen always.

Simply beautiful!

Really fun! The delay in the submission is a nice touch: makes it so that you cannot submit your building as it is toppling. I think the 10$ block should be cheaper though. You can make a tower as tall using just three 1$ blocks, and it's more stable too!

Got fun playing, feeling of blocks poping is really good (+ blocks destroyed at the end), fiting the theme correctly. May have appreciate some colors. Overall impression is great :) Congrats

Fun game! Our time considered something similar, I like the addition of cost when scoring :)

Very excited when I realized that the tower "falling down" didn't reset the game and immediately started building chaotic piles as tall as I could :D

Good concept, at first wasn't sure what the objective was, and well, there wasn't an objective, but I had a good time.

Not bad! I'd say it's a great start to a more fleshed out game. Objectives in height, score or levels with more challening base terrain would greatly improve this concept imo!

Great game, I had a fun time playing :D

Perhaps horizontal lines / markers indicating the current height would be cool

It was very fun, it reminds me of those arcade games of stacking the cubes at the right time to get a prize, but much more calm and much less goal oriented, very fun and well done, the music is good, the visuals are simple and i loved the decision of having different blocks and pricings. I few things i would like to point is that firstly i think an equation for score could work better, since it's just how tall it is divided by how much it cost it's sad to get 0.xxx score. secondly as you can see in the image below, i can just put a block really high up and instantly submit, perhaps you could not let a submission be made while there's a block still falling. Anyway super fun entry, i liked it a lot, well done!

A simple game according to the theme.
I think the music has a very low volume even at maximum volume.
Perhaps an initial screen for the controls would be interesting and then they disappear, it can be annoying that they are always written.
In conclusion, I think it is a successful and well-developed idea, the game is fun and it can be challenging!

Good job on making to the end of the jam! There are simple building mechanics with the theme incorporated nicely into it, which makes this a proper jam submission because many others simply placed the theme as the background theme as opposed to being a game mechanic which means that while they do end up doing the theme, the mechanic is all vanilla. So good job on making that happen.

Improvements could be something like making your own sound effect with bfxr, maybe look for some royalty free background music to improve the mood even further, and if you had the time, maybe draw your own art as well!
