Very fun take on the theme! Was very fun to play and really nice graphics and audio. Would be exceptionally good game if there was just a little bit more to it than just running around shooting enemies. But highly interesting concept.

I played this through. The level design (colors especially) is a bit confusing but it's pretty well-made overall.

Beautiful graphics, love the style although it was hard to see where to go for me at times. Shooting was a bit wonky, and I wish that some enemies could have a bit more depth to them, but for a jam game this is excellent. Good Stuff!

Very nice looking, would have been a bit less frustrating if the aiming lined up correctly when not at a 90 degree angle

Definitely had fun with this one. Really liked the aesthetic going on, and the sfx were good. A little music would have been really good, but there is only so much time in the jam haha.

@cyanowski Thank you!

@fonkin Thanks, glad you liked it. I wanted to add more content but I was running out of Time.

@squeg-inc Thank you for your feedback! I think if I had turned of the visibility of the cursor, the shooting would be a bit better since the rotation doesnt match the mapping of the cursor because of the camera angle but it defenitly also can have some more tweaking.

Really beautiful! I think this could very well be built into a fun little shooter, the mechanic where both shooting and being hit "damages" you gives it a nice little twist. I have some suggestions in case you decide to keep working on this game and improving it:
* Make movements faster. Slowly moving around a long level can get a bit tedious
* I couldn't get past a section where there's a bunch of very high HP enemies shooting at you. You don't really have any way to dodge their bullets or defend yourself, and if you try to kill them you'll end up overheating and dying anyway. Maybe add more cover around levels, or make it possible to dodge bullets?
* When I played the game (on itch.io, in Firefox on Windows (not full screen)), the aiming wasn't working correctly. The cannon shot consistently a bit off from the mouse position for some reason, I assume this is a bug?

I love that you made just cubes look really nice. The stability being displayed on the user was cool. I also liked that firing lasers used up some of your stability. I also thought the respawn mechanic was cool and also made the game a lot more forgiving. I did have trouble figuring out where to go sometimes, and the lasers not lining up with the cursor was frustrating. But other than that, this was a really solid game.

@jnur thanks for your feedback and the suggestions!

Realy love the boom sound of defeated enemy! Pretty fun to play, some lack of speed maybe. Enemies not go anywhere and pretty simple to be killed from the corner or big distance (maybe should limit the distance of laser). Cursor is off in the corners too. But after all it was pretty enjoyable to play. Maybe armored enemy in the end would be too hard to kill if laser distance fixed :)

Very cool design, the fact that when you are firing it also decrease the stability is a great touch, the little "combo" to avoid the game over is nice.
The visual style is very nice and the fx are good. Was fun to play, thank you !

OMG I beat it! I could play this for hours. It put me in a trance because I loveo taking my time in games and this forced that technique. I loved this. I loved the graphics, sound, controls and the combat. I want more and would love to see this in VR. Great work! Oh and like @tyler-law i loved the respawn mechanic that was brilliant and more games should have something like that.

@brusnika yeah I sadly had not enough time to balance the game properly, but glad you liked it anyway :)

@moirai Awesome, glad you liked it. Thanks for playing!

@tyler-law Thank you!

This is a fun time! Gameplay is simple, but not to a fault, the goal is easy to understand without any words. The second chance mechanic is smart in both concept and execution, great feature! All that's missing is music, but for a 48 hour game, this is very well made. Good job!

Thank you for your game!!
The design is amazing ^^ I like when there are squares everywhere ahah
For the gameplay I would suggest you make the level shorter and try to make the enemies moving to balance the game :) because it has a potential to be very good game for jam. Hope you make an improved version. Anyway, good job!

I like the art.
The top-down perspective gives the game an interesting aesthetic.

The game controls well, and the minimal UI is intuitive.

I do think some music would make the game more atmospheric.

*Thank you for the Linux build by the way.*

I like graphics, all this cubes and lightning. For me game was too easy, but enjoyable.
