Cool game! Kinda weird that you can spam the build button, but it's fun :)

Great game! I must ask though, how did you get the game to look all pixelated and stuff? Was it a shader or was is just the game engine that you were using?

Honestly I absolutely adored this game. The art was so cool looking even though it's just shapes, the gameplay was engaging and it feels so cool when you manage to store up a bunch of blocks and then spam your way to victory!

@devparty Thanks for playing, I was inspired by this GDC talk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZW8gWgpptI8 . I implemented it in unity.

Brilliantly simple. I liked the style and the controls (except right click on trackpad being not-so-fun). I didn't originally realize I was supposed to BUILD (until reviewing the instructions again). Nice work!

Lol, I thought you had to use the foes to reach new heights in the beginning, I actually reached 6 doing that! Looked pretty cool as well, you time foe explosions with your jump. The building mechanic was very interesting as well, I really liked this one. Well done!

The controls are very precise and the graphics are easy to read. Well done. My only issue would be a lack of variation (after some time).

@maus-games Thanks for playing, I originally planned four different enemy types but just didn't have time for them in the end.

The game is very simple, but it is a "I will try just one more time" kind of game. Great Work !

At first I just fought the monsters without building anything. Then I stopped fighting the monsters and spammed build all around me. Then I started fighting the monsters again, and used the build key as a jet pack. Pretty versatile mechanic you got there. I'm not sure if I played the game the way I was supposed to. But I got up to 89 max-height. Was that good? There was no way to tell in the game. Still it was pretty fun. Nice concept. Thank you for the game.

this has a great aesthetic with an awesome color palette and really cool spawning shapes it looks like procedural sprites or something. its really good. Its too hard for me to get very far but it was really cool playing for a few minutes and I think with either some practice on my end or some tweaking of the enemy spawn rate I could really enjoy building and exploring (if there is anything to explore and if there isnt maybe there should be in the next version) Nice work!

I like the minimalist style/color palette a lot. It was actually pretty difficult to come up with a strategy to both build and protect myself. As ubershmekel said, jumping up as fast as possible on new blocks works pretty well (no reliance on the stability of the bottom blocks, haha). Fun game with a really interesting concept, thanks for making it.
