Just push the objects around to balance the plane.

  • Keyboard: wasd or arrow keys to move
  • Game pad: left stick to move

You are a glowy marshmallow trying to create some balance in a sweet but frosty winter world.

You get ten times the points if you are in the middle of the plane while being in balance.

Have fun :)

I enjoyed this game very much. And the idea was fitting the jam theme the best so far. First I did not notice that I can move front and back, I thought it is 2d movement. But when I noticed it was fun moving the "bombs" around. The "bombs" - really cool design: visually and their movement. I liked the mood, especially the change to level 3 with the black with sun in front. One little thing, the movement of the plane felt some times too fast: first no movement, then too much: maybe dampering a bit? Great game!!! My favourite!

@itzemii Thanks a lot for your feedback :) Dampering the plane movement a bit would surely be a good idea.

Simple but fun, it only takes a little physics to understand the theme of the game, cool! But I have a tip, when the block moves to one side, I can't see what's going on on the other side, and if something drops at that time it might affect the game. Perhaps it would be better to keep the scales fixed on the screen?

Nice! I was kinda bad, and didn't have great scores, but it seemed to let me move on to the next level anyway? Maybe it should be more punishing :v
Also, it seemed I got score when I moved into a stable state, didn't keep getting score when I kept it stable? Or maybe I just didn't manage to keep it stable long enough

@wheybags I did not want to make it more punishing as it is difficult enough to keep the balance as you mentioned yourself. And yes, you only get points once each time you create the balance. This was also intentional. I did not have enough time to create some kind of optimal difficulty. Actually I wanted to quit after day one but a friend just did not let me give up :)

I'm glad you pushed through to publish this. Very smooth movement, nice relaxing mood and no punishments. I just played it through a few times knowing that I cant fail, which felt good.

@abregado thanks :) You can die when you get off the plane, though.

A great idea for a game. I like the abstract visuals and soothing sfx. The gameplay idea is interesting, but I found that I could get points most easily just by rocking the see saw one way, then the other, through the equilibrium point, rather than by spending more time in a balanced state. I would expect the game to reward me for keeping the board balanced, not for moving from one side to the other repeatedly. Thanks for sharing!

@samuel-hollywood-summers Thanks for your feedback. I probably should have playtested with more people to get such suggestions in time to be able to implement them during the jam.

Took me a while to understand I needed to get back to the center after balancing the play field, but it was satisfying to start scoring and fine-tuning the objects!

There is good chill vibes here ! The sound design do a lot for that. Sometimes I get some difficults to move weights as they just jump without really moving

Nice game! Really nice mood to it. Why won't those planes just leave me and my lever in peace :sob:
